Whittaker fought like that because of Izzy's reach. Do you want him to get countered and sleep again? lol That fight was shitty no doubt. Izzy was content with point fighting and Rob was gun shy. What I don't like here is tho Izzy acting like he could have finished Rob easily but he didn't want to. No. Rob pushed you and you almost lost that fight. Anderson carried Leites and Demian to a decision on purpose, much different than what happened in Adesanya vs. Whittaker. Anderson could do what he did because he was light-years better. Adesanya wasn't against Whittaker, was like pretty even. The man has a head problem, delusion is definitely one of his strongest assets for sure.

He’s 100% correct, same with Usman in the 2nd Colby fight. It’s a dangerous game to play(as Usman experienced against Leon), but there isn’t much of a threat late against pillow-fisted decision machines like Whittaker and Colby.

They both fought safe out of respect for eachothers skills.

Rob made effective adjustments that prevented him from running into counters like he did in the first fight and this didn't leave izzy safe opportunities to finish the fight.

Izzy would benefit from having a PR guy to enlighten him to the times when he chooses to present himself in ways that are extremely off-putting to most fans.
