Just found out that im a Canadian Citizen... advice?

My biological dad was born in Canada. According to Canada.ca,

"You’re likely a Canadian citizen if you

  • were born outside Canada and at least 1 of your parents (legal parent at birth) or biological parent) either
    • was born in Canada, or
    • became a naturalized citizen before you were born"

any advice my fellow Canadians?

Where's your first citizenship?

Also, welcome to the dual citizen club.

Unless your parents got you a citizenship when you were born I think you need to live here for 3 years before you're eligible to apply to be a citizen. To do that first you have to become a permanent resident.

Only positive,
They know how to party and french canadians chicks are the best.

That's why I went to university in Ottawa. Lots of chicks from Quebec, and if we wanted to party harder we'd head over to Montreal for the weekend. Good times! I'm still not entirely sure how I managed to graduate.

Congrats on potentially joining a first-world country. You need to live like 6 months a year in Canada for the health coverage though.
Canadians with money come to America for healthcare

Me too! Time to get some of that socialized medicine.

Free and better if you're healthy. If you have something seriously wrong, the US has all the best specialists.
So basically live in Canada when you're young and then move to the US for retirement

Necessary to know to blend in the corporate culture. Next to the water cooler talk regarding the weather, its a close second.
