From what i saw on google it's from before the russian national and he didn't compete so i guess is not going to the olympic, i just wanted to know why he didn't compete.

He broke his leg training for russian nationals, gogaev(european champ, 2010 silver medalist) beat his brother adam in the final, the only way they would let mavlet in is if he beat gogaev in a wrestle off.
