It was quite a coup for NoDak to get itself included in that tourism marketing gimmick because unless you're from there, have extensive family there, or own cropland there then ain't shit there for outsiders to do or see, unless very rural living and brutal climatic conditions are their thing. As @lifelessheap (love you too, bro) was quick to point out, it doesn't even have a national forest and the sole national park is bleh next to Glacier or Yellowstone. It isn't "one of America's best kept secrets" (lol), it's the least visited state in the country for good reason(s) and I don't care. It is my family's American homestead, heritage and history.
