Media Michael Chandler hopes his fight vs McGregor is for the inaugural 165 lb title

Why have 165 & 170?? Doesn’t make sense.

If anything, add a cruiserweight (225lbs) division, and then have no max cap on HW (remove the ridiculous 265 limit).

There's zero talent at 205 and Heavyweight but you want to cram another division in between them? Bro read a book or something, very uneducated.

I'm down for a 165 division with WW moving to 175, just 2 things:
  • Needs to not have a lame boxing-style prefix-name like "super lightweight" or "light welterweight"
  • It might be a problem if the two guys inaugurating the new weight class are divas like Conor and Chandler who prefer money fights over defending against the best of the best

You guys keep wanting more divisions.. It just means more people jumping between divisions more and making all the current situations that we hate worse. Divisions will be tied up more because of division jumping.. Champs will be looking to get more titles

Please not yet another division. If anything we need less

Does having 3 divisions so close to each other in weight mean that fighters will effectively show up twice (or possibly even 3 times) in the different divisional rankings? And if so, is that a good thing? The rankings are already a bit jokey at times.

Dana hates 165. It will never happen. He thinks the weight is nonsense and I do believe him. Its just 5 punds less than 170. Whats the point exactly?

That would be terrible
