it is closer to empowering the individual i.e by making them more reliant on themselves. it removes governmental control but offers next to nothing in the event something goes wrong. it relies heavily on ableism and social normality meaning there are massive restrictions on receiving aid on times of need such as individual disability or social funding. The power authority is placed into private groups which have little to no desirable need to support the individual or promote rights. Private groups which promote rights have little to no authority and there is no price control.

He wants to base Argentina on the Irish model but aside from bolstering a high GDP internally Ireland has explosive pricing, monstrous housing issues, a corrupt medical service and a weaker transport system than north korea. The Liberalist policies over shadow the democratic values to such an extent no one can really do anything ab out it so the only action they can take is to literally do nothing. Ireland has become so reliant on corporism you can't speak about them in your own home without them changing prices or offering a new service based on what you say. Price fixing is rampant and the only control is counter intuitive control.

But instead of a select group of people getting a small amount of money, everyone does better through lower taxes. The US tax rate is excessive at around 40% counting all taxes. Sales, income, property, gas, etc. Cut that in half and there is more money to help others.

Also strip government regulations. A US auto maker can make a truck for 15k bare bones. With regulations, by the time you jump through the hoops and add the safety features, it doubles.

Milei stated he wants Argentina to replicate the success of Ireland and commended the liberalist attitude of the Irish. Most Irish will tell you it's not so much a liberalist attitude but a total lack of responsibility. Ireland is the closest western example of an anarcho capalist society with the state acting a budgeting coordinator leaving it up to individual councils to implement them. Its a bit similar to EU law where states have the choice to implement an EU law in a manner of their choosing so long as it is sufficient. On a local level though there is simply a lack of accountability meaning it is a clusterfuck of theft. In actuality it is easier to enforce EU law than it is to enforce national law because at least EU law is monitored and has accountability. This makes it look like the Irish are bitches to the EU when in fact it's more down to the state itself being a bitch.

Ireland is sort of a loose libertarian in the sense there is no price control and policies tend to be controlled by personal choice. But it's all mixed really with a reliance on welfare as well, so the libertarian attitude isn't really even done on purpose. The Irish system makes money by catering to larger corporate entities, giving them leeway and benefit. It's only successful on paper and the GDP doesnt resemble normal life.

Anyway, personally I think the concept of liberalism should be a personal choice, one people should strive for, but as a political ideal it's reckless. Basically having a cultural identify or mindset similar to bushido is something needed.
