Severino bit in large part because he was mad about the fence grabs and trying to get even on the dirty fighting. If the ref had taken a point like he absolutely should have, the biting probably wouldn't have happened

He was hanging off his shorts at the time of the bite. He was doing the same thing the whole time, but decided to bite him also?

He could have gotten away with a groin shot, his own fence grabs or an eye poke. No chance he was getting away with a bite though.

I dunno, daily went on to make far far far far more money than he'd ever had made in the UFC. Might have cost him in the moment but ended up being the best thing for his career. This biting shit is likely to lose you a career.
