NFL Seattle Seahawks Wide Receiver DK Metcalf runs a 100m race against Pro Sprinters (May 9, 2021)

Still not sure how this guy dropped in the draft - big, fast, pretty good hands, played in the SEC. I know there were some injury concerns but he’s basically a better T.O. without the locker room baggage, seems like someone should’ve taken a chance sooner

There's also an element of "he's too good to be true" and teams have been burned before by over drafting workout warriors. Metcalf doesn't have the route tree chops to shake defenders, so if a smaller corner can run with his speed, they were afraid he'd be too easily covered up on gos and posts and slants since not good with double moves or hard sudden right angles.

Obviously he's able to make up for those deficiencies

The run for this thread is amazing. Sure he finished last, but he didn't look like he didn't belong there and was right in with the pack at 60-80 pounds heavier than all of them.

I want to see a Tyreek Hill 100m dash and where he could end up in the heat
