What I don’t know is if altars and rep rewards count towards your season character. Seems unlikely to me that they would. Has anyone seen confirmation of this one way or the other?

We'll get seasonal credit for Alter of Lilith's found and areas discovered (map). Just make sure to log in with your character who has the most progress after July 18th in order to "lock in" your region progress in the new season.

It's worth mentioning dead hardcore character's renown progress won't count towards getting credit for the new season. Don't let your character die!

Wow, I never thought of that. Doing all the rep and altars and then lagging out and having your hardcore character die... then losing credit for all that and having to do it again would probably be enough to make me just ragequit the game.

It was annoying enough to do it all the first time.

Just started today. Got through the tutorial part and I'm just kinda exploring right now. Going with a Rogue probably going the Twisted Blades route. Any early talents I should focus on?

Incredibly stupid on Blizzard's part no doubt. Statue hunting is one of the worst things in the game.

It's OK as a means to get people to go explore by giving them the permanent boost to any characters afterwards... as long as it's one and done and people are never forced to go do it again.

Agreed! It did sound like it'll be once and done. Giving players credit for Alters and exploring the map was an after thought due to players feedback. Once we get credit for the first season we'll be good moving forward.

No, I totally get it. It's a way for players to explore the map. It's just tedious and takes away from what the game is. I was statue hunting with a buddy yesterday and there was about 4 or 5 random people that were doing the same thing.

I very quickly abandoned my principles on this and just used a map. Glad to be done with it.

didnt play much the last week but i went hard on the game tonight and finished getting my barb to 100. glory days.

i think im hitting a wall around level 65 nightmare dungeons though, i can just barely scrape through them. and the poison pools and explodey stuff is starting to hurt. most of my gear is like 10-20 levels below me because i cant find any upgrades with the rolls i need. they've been few and far between ever since i got around level 80.

i'd sure like to get my hands on a shako and a grandfather but i doubt i'll ever see one of those any year soon lol

nice! I am at 97 but I am struggling to get there. A mix of lack of motivation along with playing another game with my buddy (prefers playing that instead). I am also stagnating at 61-63 nightmare depending on perks. Getting shako would be the dream…

I fell off the wagon on this hard. I'm at level 80 and I haven't found any gear upgrades. For a while I was doing everything- Grim Favors, every world boss, any time there was a Helltide I went for it, and of course 30+ Nightmare dungeons. I haven't gotten any gear that I can use since I was level 65-67. Last night was the first night I didn't play just because I didn't want to.

Zelda and Fire Emblem have been amazing fun-- I will come back to this when the season starts.

Quitters aren't allowed on Sherdog. Mods please do your job.

Level 36. Twisting bladed with poison is melting stuff. My Brother is a frost Sorcerer so we clear big groups out pretty quick.

I must admit, I'm with you here. Lvl 85 but struggling with motivation. There is only so many times you can run helltides, finish with 4 or 5 mystery chests, a tab and a half of Oranges and Ancestral yellows, only to sort through them afterwards and find you got zero upgrades.

Kind of feel like what is the point of lvl 75+ in this game currently?

Nice,

Wait until you get to level 50 and unlock paragon, higher world tiers and your inner autistic savant wants to get the best rolls and aspects on the gear you collect.

I'm level 80 and going through the same issue- but what keeps me going back is that it can be a lot of fun at times. Doing dungeons by myself is ok cuz at least I can upgrade my glyphs, but helltides, legions, and world bosses are fun just for the fact of being able to team up with others and wreck shit.

At my level some of the events during helltides can still be somewhat challenging with level 83+ monsters, but legion events and world bosses at level 90+ are LOL worthy because more often than not a handful of guys at level 90+ will help just sweep everything up in seconds.

The only event that's somewhat annoying is the wayward soul event- when the screen fills up with enemies it can be hard to keep track of where that ghost goes at times. Then that annoying "you left me alone" voice comes up (by the way, who or what is the monster that spawns? Is it the dead relative? Is it the person you are escorting? Do they reunite AFTER you kill them? WTF nothing makes sense)

There need to be higher difficulty levels already. Let us rank up to level 125 or so and get more paragon points, but have difficulty levels to match that level of power.

I wish they would go back the the d2 concept of uniques. Keep the ultra rare unique ones like shako and grandfather. But put another 100 uniques what are random drops for all classes with some being rarer then others kinda like griffon eye and deaths web.

Also, make items bind to account on equipping instead of binding to account on pick up. Often times I get an item or aspect that would be better suited for my friend's character but there is no trading.

Edit: And remove so many damn dungeon tasks (finding keys, placing alter stuff) it is so annoying. Can you imagine if we need to do a stupid dungeon mechanic for Countess, Pindle, Meph runs?

Just read about the season pass. Sounds lame. I'll still play the first one since it's already paid for, but I'm not excited about it.
