Typical words from somebody beaten down relentlessly by Maliketh the Black Blade.

It's literally a masterpiece. Go lie down, rewind time and fight the best boss in the game bud. You'll come around eventually.

To be fair, I ran three characters through NG 6/7 so I may have a problem.
I've only fought him twice. So it wasn't him.

It's an absolutely sick weapon. Big pokers are fun as fuck. Two at once is pretty fun too. I think I dual wielded it with the Godskin Stitcher a few times. Arcane heavy builds are nice for loot, as that it the best stat for increasing drop rates on
I haven't tried power stancing with it yet. Mainly 2 handing it and been using the Dragon seal for frozen/rotten breath.

MY SOLE CRITIQUE OF THE GOAT GAME.......

Elden Beast. What an absolute let down of a final boss given some of the ferocity and complexity you face throughout the game. He's a bit of a cunt to be sure, but overall you can figure him out very easily and everything is way too chill.

Hoping the DLC redeems with a final boss for the ages.

Yeah, as final bosses go it’s pretty fucking lame. Kind of reminds me of Dark Souls 2, that also lacked an epic final boss fight compared to 1 and 3 or Bloodborne.

@Cherry Brigand

Did you fight Dragonlord Placidusax in Crumbling Farum Azula and acquire the Dragon King's Cragblade? (One of coolest weapons in game with a very unique skill)

Lore Alert: Placidusax is said to have been the OG Elden Lord before the Erdtree.

I did. I'm finding my tolerance for these bosses is going down so I used the mimic ash or whatever it's called. My first run I beat everything solo but would sometimes use banished knight oleg. Are you saying I should use that blade instead of my BH fang +10?

I'm gonna try the boss again today. Even his first phase is stupid. Got past it on my third try and then was instakilled by that sword drain thing because I didn't know when to use bernahls relic thing. I'll give it another dzen or so tries before I bring in the mimic.

Ridiculous weapon art aside I really like the moveset on Mohgs Spear.
I'm using that and duel wielding Reduvia's with Dragon Talisman, some nasty ass frowned upon shit <JonesLaugh>

It's S-Tier, easy mode weapon in PVE for sure. Fun as hell.
Fire giant is not in the CF. The CF is in the heligtree area.
what are you smoking mate? In order to get access to Crumbling Farum Azula, you need to kill the fire giant in Consecrated Snowfields. Once you tell Melina to light the motherfucker up you get transported to Crumbling Farum. Once you beat Crumbling you get access to buried Capital City for last fights. The Haligtree is an optional area that is accessed by solving the tower light puzzle in Ordina, Liturgical Town. Are we even playing the same game bud?

Google fire giant location. The answer won't be consecrated snowfields.

excerpts from a Chinese outlet interview Hidetaka Miyazaki recently did

Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC will be the RPG's only expansion, but developer FromSoftware isn't ruling out other full games in The Lands Between.
In a new interview with Chinese outlet Campfire Camp, Elden Ring game director and FromSoftware studio head Hidetaka Miyazaki commented on the possibility of other DLC entries for Elden Ring. FromSoftware does have a history of multiple DLC offerings for their games, with Dark Souls 3 receiving two full expansions, for example.

However, Miyazaki says that Shadow of the Erdtree will be the first, and last, Elden Ring DLC. The 2022 game won't be receiving any further DLC after Shadow of the Erdtree launches next month on June 21, so this next journey into The Lands Between might well be the final story FromSoftware tells in the Elden Ring world, for now at least.
That's because Miyazaki isn't ruling out another full Elden Ring game. The director says that FromSoftware's style of making and developing games naturally leaves the door open to another game set within Elden Ring's world, although Miyazaki obviously stops short of confirming that there definitely would be another Elden Ring game.

I should try this, barely used it so far.

What's the benefit of dual wielding? I briefly tried it with a +25 forked hatchet in RH and a +24 same in LH but didn't notice anything specific, is it faster hits?

Also before you question my upgrade decision the FH is one of my fav super quick bleed weapons that has my shameless hoarfrost stomp weapon art.

Also I prefer keeping a, what's it called, thingy that lets you cast heal/resistance incantations in the LH, but at the character's high level (at end of 3rd time through currently) I don't need those as much anymore so maybe I'll try this dual BHF and see what's up.

Like someone said though, prob not for elden beast or any other large fast boss
Well just reread the Fextra entry on the forked hatchet and damn I gotta move on to something else. Didn't realize how actually junky it is even after getting through to NG+4.

Range and speed are definitely lacking; I think I was impressed by it due to how hard the imps hit with it

I have the hoarfrost stomp on some other bleed weapons and gonna try those more like the nagakiba (sp?) samurai sword

Also how the hell did I forget that bleed scales with arcane?? My current respec has the character at just 10 arcane lol
