Another update of my 7 foot CNC machine development featuring a completely central control touch panel and computer component with 5 axis support. Pretty happy so far with my design will see how well it performs soon I hope in the next 2 weeks I figure?
I replaced the CNC controller stand with a much better an stronger one. Cut the aluminum tabletop panels to size , getting ready to mount the tabletop panels to base.
Started working on making the holes for the screws, installing the screws and mounted my first panel on to the tabletop. More work in the panel mounting today. Will be sanding and polishing the panels when I am done.
Wiring the power/servo drivers/homing sensors/the 24 volt-48 volt power supplies/power off switches including emergency power off/ cooling fans/EMI filters and EMI shielding a lot of stuff going on.
Progress photos of my DIY CNC machine. It hopefully allow me to machine aluminum an wood, as well as plastic an foam. May buy a laser adapter for other material types.
