Got stronger and stronger. Could see it coming at the end before he took the lead. The way it was bearing down on Medina and bourbon you could see it wasn’t gonna be denied

That's what is so cool (and difficult) about the Triple Crown. Every race gets longer and it makes a difference. Few horses can beat everyone at all three lengths, including long track specialists at Belmont.
Seemed like Rombauer was just peak ready today. Crushed it. Amazing race for him. I'm going to rewind it and watch him from the start one time. I wasn't paying attention to him live.

Just re-watched focused on the 6-hole horse. Started clean as hell, but ran tight in heavy traffic towards the back for a long time and then just let the horse go himself as they went along and he had it today. That was an amazing race for that horse and that jockey. Perfect, frankly. And awesome speed. Gotta be the favorite for Belmont.

Edit to add, WTF was that worker with the reflective vest yelling when he jumped in there at the end of the interview!?

had keepmeinmind in all 3 slots (triple/ trifecta)... broke bad finished 4th. Wouldve been nice .
However dumb luck - played thistledown 8th race and boxed #6 with all ....caught an 1126$ exacta (2$). Also hit a 75$ horse at Arlington. I was stuck for 350 before those 2 hits and still maid plenty profit after losing pimlico.
