It’s easy to say it’s not an excuse, but when it’s been as extreme it has been for some teams this season, it’s stupid to argue it isn’t a major factor.

Missing a couple of players at a time, you need to find a way to manage……when you’re seemingly constantly missing 10+ first teamers (and key ones at that) there’s not a team in the league who’d be able to cope.

What ETH is responsible for (at least to some extent) is the recruitment. He was the one who pushed for Erikksen, Antony, Mount and Amrabat, who have largely been shit and largely been benched even during the injury crisis.

Antony is already in the worst transfers ever HoF, and Mount could well be joining him.

Both were players ETH really pushed for, and cost 150m, as well as costing us Jadon Sancho.
