no, there are 9-9 rounds.

it occurs when you win a round 10-9, but get a point deducted (cage grab,groin strike, eye poke ect). the other guy doesn't get a point added on.

No man, it's a 10 point must system. So I believe a round like you describe is scored 10-10, at least in boxing. It's arbitrary though.

Lets put it this way...if Rakic would have got the dec. 1/10th of the people would be saying this was a bad dec. and Oez got jobbed instead of the multitudes chiming in now about Rakic being at least semi robbed. On fight metric Rakic had more sig. strikes with a TD and a sub att. also on the + side with many more head strikes that normally tend to get the judges favor in a close fight. Now when you see a score like that and the lesser stat fighter won its almost always because he had a big moment or 2 in the fight like hurting the other guy badly or other dominant moments.....there was none of that..... other than a blown up knee Oez. created and the coming forward adv. which is worth something but hardly enough to overcome that stat adv. with no big moments during the fight. Parachute new 3 judges in for this fight and 4 out of 5 times if not 5 Rakic wins. Oez and his betting backers are a very fortunate group today but thats what happens in a sport with judging like this 1...boxing...ect.

How many times have you watched the fight? The commentary was extremely biased, but it was razor close.

Even if you think Oezdemir won, which is a valid opinion, you still can't call it a robbery. All three rounds were close.

All three Sherdog judges scored it for Reyes. Reyes landed the most damaging strikes of the fight, clearly hurting Oezdemir in the third.

well it's not. you cant get a point added on. In mma when there is a penatly you get deducted 1 point. there are 10-10 rounds it's when you score the round and even draw.

there was a 9-9 round on last weekends fight card, cody stanman vs yadong song round 1, Yadong won the round very clearly, but had a point docked for landing a knee to the head on a downed opponent.

I don't see the point in that though. Oezdemir has been ko'd by the former champ, lost to the guy that fought for the title earlier this year, and lost to the guy currently fighting for the title. Rakic is a new fresh face, looks the part, is coming off a brutal highlight reel first round KO and was undefeated in the UFC with a 12 win streak.

Saying Volkan is better for business than Rakic is simply nonsense. That is, if that IS what the UFC thinks.
