PC Riichi City Mahjong - free

I have no idea how to play this game. It's the proper version of Mahjong played similarly to poker. Always wanted to pick it up from the mini game in the Yakuza series but I could never really get into it. Looks like a game with a lot of depth though. Anyone playing it or feel like throwing down the rules in a digestible manner. I found the tutorial pretty frustrating.

Easiest example I can give for rules.

You need 4 triples and a double

a triple is 3 pieces that are three of a kind

so say 666 of the same suit
or like 234 of the same suit


My advice at least in yakuza is.

When prompted to get pon or chi (using the other players prices to finish your triple)

Don't. i found it easier to just win from your hand itself.


riichi is simply being 1 tile away from getting a full hand.
And see if Riichi is available every turn. So whether you think you have it or not. Just press the button to see if it let's you.

As for actually playing the game consistently and winning.
