Coker should just start up a BK Muay Thai in the US, violence is what the US audience wants

Threw money at it and saw no return for the entire 20 year run of the promotion

Coker is the OG Chatri.

Not sure why anyone would want to get into this business now but good luck for him if he can make it work.

Well to be fair it doesn't sound like they are trying to be the next big thing or anything close to that. It really sounds like they are just looking to promote in the bay area and give a platform to local fighters and some outside guys in various martial arts. They are hoping with the names involved with it bigger promotions will take notice and sign some of these guys.

This is really Gilbert's thing more than Coker's. Coker offered to come in and basically train Gilbert in the business/promoter side of the fight game.

The dumbest promotion name I ever heard.
There are definitely worse out there. It gets the point across, that this is a local show for local fighters.

The sport needs regional shows to find prospects and groom them for the next level, same as boxing. That’s never going to change.

People won’t support this. Casual fans complain about grappling in MMA, yet you never see them going crazy for kickboxing which is why kickboxing and muay thai organizations struggle here.
