Sergey Kharitonov will face against Cheik Kongo Aug 20 in Bellator event

Go Sergey !! I liked Kongo but he seemed to go soft Everytime he fought someone he liked. Want Kongo to dislike Sergey snd to lose at his best effort.
 
Great another fight where Kongo will just sniff crotch. Why can’t Bellator match up Sergei with someone who will stand with him?
 
Kongo by a crotch kick/knee - as always. Kongo is a legend.

Agreed, Sergei is close to 300 pounds now. If anyone is expecting him to get off the couch and go back to grappling its sadly mistaken. I dont expect Sergei to stuff a single take down so he will probably have one chance each round to catch Kongo as he hugs him for the rest of the round.

Yeah it’s just poor matchmaking all around. Let’s be honest, neither of these guys are probably contenders to win the belt anymore. So why match them up? Especially when it’s a horrific style match up. Use these guys to build the up and comers. Why don’t they do Kongo vs Fortune? Or Mowry vs Sergei?

Mowry is facing Golm In August which is a good fight …


Let the old guys battle themselves…. And probably cut the loser of the fight…

they should re-shape their hw division with up and comers and forget about this over 40 guys to be honest

Fortune vs Moldavsky makes sense if Bader takes forever in the tournament … or make Fortune vs Johnson and let the kid revenge the loss

Kongo has boring ass fights but good enough to still win lots off them, so just let him fight out his contract without ruining the hype off a up and comer.

Kongo is like 46. Maybe they are doing an experiment by giving him easy matchups to see how long he can keep doing this.
