I'd watch SNL again if they brought back racist jokes and fired all the female comedians.
Can you imagine if Dice was still doing stand up.Gillis is funny.
I am of the opinion that if you are a comedian for a living, you should never be punished for saying offensive shit if its part of a joke.
People have gotten so sensitive and soft that even Jerry Seinfield who is PC as they come won't do shows at colleges...Can you imagine if Dice was still doing stand up.

I think Gillis is funny and a shame he did not make the show, but probably worked out better for him. What came next was a perfect example of left wing cancel culture.
Meh
"In a clip from a 2018 episode of his "Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast," the comedian made derogatory remarks about Asians while chatting with comedian co-host Matt McCusker.
"Chinatown’s (expletive) nuts," Gillis said. "Let the (expletive) live there," he added, using a racial slur.
Gillis posted an apology to Twitter late Thursday, saying he "pushes boundaries" and "sometimes miss(es)." But the backlash was severe, others found more questionable comments and 'SNL' producers drew criticism for not surfacing Gillis' views before hiring him."
Seemed amicable to him apparently:
"After Michaels issued his statement, Gillis boasted he is "a comedian who was funny enough" to get the job in the first place. "Of course I wanted to prove myself at SNL, but realize it would have been too much of a distraction," he wrote on Twitter. "I respect the decision they made. I'm honestly grateful for the opportunity. I was always a mad tv guy anyway," he added, referring to Fox's onetime rival sketch-comedy series."
Think of him as one of those hair metal bands you thought were long dead, but then read that they still make millions dollars on the "Dinosaurs of Rock" tours, that still sell out stadiums around the world. On what platform?

I will make life a lot easier on you, both side are full of idiots, and once you reach that point, it gets harder for rage porn peddlers to keep you enraged.
I think the MAGA wing of the GOP are fucking morons and I think the commie, 105 gender wing of the Left are fucking morons as well.
It is dumb to cancel a comedian, song or even a TV show. The best way is to dont consume it.
MAGA fans will throw a beer can at you if you make fun of Dear Leader.
