A dominant performance and a big statement from Ireland to go to France and get a big win to open the tournament, scoring the most points they have ever scored in France! If you remember Ireland got the Grand Slam last year and they aren't wasting time this year either. Let's see how the other teams look today.

Round One, Day Two Roundup

Better late than never!

Italy 24 - 27 England
Wales 26 - 27 Scotland

All interesting results in the first weekend. Italy were ahead at half time and gave England a nasty fright! This was the most points Italy have scored against England in the Six Nations and their narrowest margin of defeat against them.

Wales were 0 - 20 down at half time after a shockingly poor half, but battled back well in the second. This was Scotland's first win in Cardiff for 22 years.

Ireland have won nine in a row in the SN and continue to lead from the front.

Absurdly late, I have finally been able to watch the last matches. I will try to watch them ASAP this time.

Scotland 16 - 20 France
England 16 - 14 Wales
Ireland 36 - 0 Italy

Scotland vs France and England vs Wales were close; in fact France and Wales led at half time. Italy got crushed, after giving England all they could handle last time out. Ireland are pulling ahead but England are still in touch. Wales are having a poor tournament so far!
