"Still Water", Matt Damon. Decent attempt?

He really conveyed the redneck vibe very well, very believably.

Got to say I enjoyed it.

Any thoughts from those that have suffered through it?

Too slow for my tastes, very bleak ending, they marketed it as an action thriller about a father searching for his daughter in a foreign land but instead it was an indy art house piece about relationships, didnt appreciate that swerve

If youre gonna be an art house flick then be proud and stand on that, dont fake it like youre something else to sell tickets to a poor unsuspecting public, ole Bud Light loving ass movie

Never seen it. But, he did a good job of playing an idiot in Downsizing.

Yeah. It could have did a better job at showing what homos the Europeans are.



It wasn't a bad movie but it fell in this category of movies that got way too much praise during the pandemic because everyone included dusty ass critics wanted to make sure people went back to the movie theaters so the whole industry didn't collapse. The movie was worth a watch and that is about it.
