Stipe > Fedor

Cro cop is a dangerous striker but nowhere near the boxer, plus is way smaller with a considerably smaller reach. Stipe would dwarf Fedor.

Semmy Schilt is 7' taller than Stipe, 30-40lbs heavier with 8' longer reach and is literally considered the consensus best HW ever in kickboxing. HMC is even bigger still and is also a more accomplished striker than Stipe. The idea that Fedor has never seen a Miocic level striker or been the smaller guy in a fight before (dude was 5'11) is just ridiculous. Schilt would have Stipe shooting in for takedowns like his life depended on it.

Also Reem was post-USADA and 6 years removed from his K-1 days when Stipe KO'd him. I doubt Stipe gets the same results against him or JDS 5 years earlier.

Yep. He had great head movement for a HW and even if you landed on him he had a granite chin and would regain his composure from being hurt very quickly.

Then in his 30s his reflexes slowed a little and he got a bit chinnier - both common in older fighters and a major disadvantage.

He never showed a granite chin, that is just a myth. He didnt get KOd in his prime because he barely ever got hit clean to the chin with hard strikes.

And he didnt even show great recovery ever either, quite the opposite actually. He was still on wobbly legs when the Fujita fight ended.

He also never fought a striker anywhere near Stipe's level

Horribly wrong. He fought Semmy Schilt.

Post USADA? So.... you'd take Overeem if he was allowed to cheat? Lmao... doesn't say much

Again, just because they have a bigger arsenal to choose from, it doesn't mean they're better strikers. Stipe is the best striker I've ever seen in heavyweight. Stipe would knock all these guys out.

Semmy would be crushed by Stipe, whether it was on the ground or standing up. More =/= better. You'd think you learned after the Overeem fight lol

Semmy would be crushed by Stipe standing up.

They said the same thing about Overeem

Guy couldn't run away from stipe fast enough

...aaaand Overeem arguably got the better standing vs Stipe, since he was the only one who scored a knockdown standing.

Prime Igor, Kerr and Erickson would EASILY hang in the modern HW division and could probably challenge for the title.

Kerr was a freak athlete with knockout power who was dominating dudes like Barnett in grappling competitions, Erickson was rumoured to have had guys like Kerr and Coleman afraid to fight him even though he was already out of his physical prime when he started MMA, Igor was practically impossible to knock out and had some of the heaviest hands ever seen in the sport.

Jesus breh how long have you actually been watching?

Cro Cop, 7'2 HMC and the most dominant HW kickboxer of all time Semmy arent on Stipes level in stand up? lmao.

Your awful, I thought when blockbuster video closed down we wouldn't have this problem anymore!

thats an argument youd lose

he had a very good gameplan to land a fight ending strike and executed it perfectly, except without the desired result.

but for the rest of the fight, he lost every exchange and had his back against the cage about three times in between either staying on his bike or turning his back. all that happened in one round

Nope. A legit knock down >> anything Stipe landed standing. Overeem also did not lost every other exchange, he landed a few other hard strikes as well.

he landed that left hand because his back was completely turned to stipe. he hid it well, he lured stipe in. it was smart, it was deceiving, it was a great strike.

but he was no match for stipe standing. watch the fight again, stipe had him running scared. in some parts of the fight, i mean that literally. alistair completely refused to stand and strike with stipe. he was on his bike, on the fence or had his back turned running. landed a big body kick and an errant, ugly looping punch here and there. stipe was stalking and unloading on alistair multiple times. he out struck alistair by a margin of more than 3 to 1.

No.

Fedor never, ever, ever would lose to Struve.

Also, Fedor beats Stipe head-to-head.

But outside of Fedor, I think Stipe is well on his way to being the best ever at HW.

Well, I can't discount Nog like that. But Stipe is climbing the charts quickly.
He did lose to mw old man hendo though!!!! Struve was 12-6 in UFC, legit hw. Hendo was old as shit and a mw/lhw lol. Stipe would never get ktfo by old man hendo.

Delusional. He dropped 3 straight in his early 30s. Wide hooks and leaving your chin wide open catches up. Diving into a world champion bjj players guard wasn't the result of being "out of prime"

Maldonado almost killed him...Maldonado.

Fedor fought Crocop,Nogueira (and all these other guys like Arlovski,Sylvia,Randleman,Rogers, list goes on and on) at their absolute peak. It has to be taken into consideration. Stipe fought guys who were past their prime or pushing 40's. Overeem and Dos Santos are not the same fighters they used to be 5 years ago (they are nowhere near that level now ). Hunt and Werdum are past their prime too, they are both 40 years old. Arlovski is old and washed up,he's not as good as he used to be during his Affliction days. Still, the way Stipe dismantled all of them via KO/TKO is really impressive. It's too early to put him above Fedor though, keep in mind he has lost 2 times already. But if he continues to fight the way he does,he can surpass Fedor's legacy in the future

Delusion
Stipe is far away from Nog whos by far #2 HW ever and top 10 P4P alltime. And in his purime for several years he was consistently in P4P top 5-10 and peaked as P4P #1 in the world and HW GOAT before Fedors rise

And was absolutely gifted a decision against Rico and went 5-6 in the UFC.

Stipe's current run of first round KOs against Arlovski, Werdum, Reem, and JDS blows away anything Fedor ever did.
