Stipe Miocic is becoming what he once hated!

In a 3 round fight, it's not completely impossible for an angry motivated Lesnar to pull it off. With his work ethics during Mir-2 training camp, UFC100 rage and gas tank, he could very well put DC and Jones that just came out of 205 on their asses for 2 RDs.
It is more likely than not that they smother him into a UD win or KO him. Adroit strikers with sufficient grappling seemed to be a combo too overwhelming for Brock to handle which Cain and Ubereem displayed when they battered him in one round.

All the fighters talk shit about champs not being active then become the same way, its funny how it works.

Every fighter criticizes the top of the division until it's their turn. Then they all turn 180.

Jones has been holding the Stipe fight up.

Jones wants the Stipe fight. He doesn't want Aspinall. Stipe wants a big money fight before retiring. I think he also realizes that his style will be very difficult for Jones to deal with. Jones knows this too, which is why he has been drinking and partying it up.

Lesnar wasn't even in the UFC at the time and called Stipe a piece of shit on camera. Stipe has stayed on the roster and hasn't been badmouthing anyone. So not exactly turning into Brock Miocic....

Stipe would KO Jones in the first RD. Thats why the fight is not happening.

Since losing the belt to DC the first time Stipe has never accepted anything other than title shots and has just sat around waiting until he got one.

Stipe's title shot would make some sort of sense if he was at least coming off a win over a top contender. Instead he's just coming off being brutally KOd haha.

Looking forward to him and Jones fucking off so the HW div can move on a bit.

Remember when Miocic hated when the UFC almost booked Lesnar vs DC in 2019 for the HW title? and Stipe was about to leave the UFC back then?

Which made sense back then cause Lesnar hasn't won a fight since 2010, his last fight overturned to NC for testing positive for PEDs in 2016 and wasn't part of the sport as he hasn't fought for 2 years since then as his last fight before the 2016 one was in 2011 when he lost to Ubereem, now same thing Stipe is doing rn, Stipe hasn't won a fight since 2020, he lost his last fight to Francis in 2021, who isn't rn in the UFC and lost x2 in Boxing, and all of Miocic's opponents in which he lost to them or has beaten them, all of them aren't in the UFC except Arlovski whom is 1 fight away from having his contract to end and call it a career (it's not yet confirmed about Arlovski's next fight but IMO he should have 1 more fight before finally retiring)

And now Aspinall is the interim champ and the No. 1 contender in the HW division so he has the right to be upset about the UFC disrespecting him and not letting him fight for the undisputed title (just like how the UFC at times sidelines No. 1 contenders for fighters that would bring them PPVs and BS, like how they did with Colby and didn't draw that much and sidelined Belal, they sidelined Merab and Cory for Chito)

The Irony of becoming what you once hated! Stipe should know his limit and retire and should not be too tough for his own good so that he doesn't end up like fighters who bit more than they can chew and got destroyed (like Francis moving to Boxing and losing x2) or Volk losing x2 to Islam or Tony doesn't want to retire for the sake of his health, same as Weidman...etc of these washed fighters whom they even themselves know they're washed but they fight anyways, Stipe should also retire and stop holding the division along with Jon.

Stipe last won a fight in 2020 and last fought in 2021. He was ready to go vs Jones at the end of 2023.
GTA San Andreas come out in 2004.

Aspinall is wrong and also had a 3 year hiatus in his own career from 2016-2019.
I think Jones should have been stripped and we should have gotten Stipe vs Aspinall for the belt though.

it's not the same situation: Jon won the belt by beating Gane than disappears for a year, fights an already retired fighter and retires with two HW fights in total and a year+ of reign while the interim champ is supposed to fight the actual contenders.

Honestly is a unique situation, only comparable with Conor's belts, the second in particular, when everyone already knew about the Conor's habit of not defending his titles.

It is more likely than not that they smother him into a UD win or KO him. Adroit strikers with sufficient grappling seemed to be a combo too overwhelming for Brock to handle which Cain and Ubereem displayed when they battered him in one round.
If their skillsets can overwhelm 50-60 lbs difference in size and grappling strength, then absolutely.

Prime-anabolic Carwin, Sea-leveled Cain, and Ubereem have only 10-30 lbs difference coupled with veteran HW experiences compare to Jones and DC superfights which wouldn't allow them to bulk up or fully preparing.

I just wanna watch him hang up on his wife again 😢
