The most well-rounded fighter in UFC history???

Someone like Eddie Alvarez is my vote

Could submit you, knock you out, take you down, point fight, wrestle, kick, box.

Bj, dj, and gsp are the top for me. Bj had world class Bjj, was an excellent wrestler took down fitch and Diaz at 170 and the rumors of Randy having a hard time getting him down, and had very good boxing, Freddy roach said bj had the best boxing in mma back in the day. Dj and gsp for obvious reasons.

Fedor was well rounded but his tdd was a little questionable, but he was really good at threatening off his back with subs and reversals.

Khabib was shockingly good off his back for a guy who can wrestle as good as he does as well

Anderson Silva. Knocked people out with kicks, elbows, knees, and punches. Pre-Weidman, he literally finished every fighter that took him down. Submitted Henderson and Sonnen. Out wrestled Nate Marquardt.
You make a compelling argument here sir.
Im trying to come up with a reason why he's not but, I can't really come up with anything of real substance.

I might just have to concur even though Fedors the GOAT lol.

Mighty Mouse was the most well-rounded fighter in UFC history with GSP as being a close second.

GSP or MM, no question.

Honestly probably MM

From the front: Roy Nelson, I don't think I've seen anything that well-rounded inside the octagon.

Perhaps Dern or Barber from the back.

I want to pick Gsp , if you pick Jones or Dj it’s hard to say your wrong, I could also say Fedor , he is incredibly well rounded, I know people are going to say he’s a shade behind the other 3 in the wrestling and grappling, but unlike the first 3 you were always one punch away from getting completely obliterated

GSP probably

But tbh I find MMA more interesting to watch when the fighters are less well-rounded. Pride seems to have been in the goldilocks era where strikers weren't typically going to get manhandled on the ground but were still striking specialists (and vice-versa), I found it more entertaining to watch

Now MMA is a style of fighting in itself. If they started doing something like Kudo guys vs Trane UFC guys / Shooto vs Shidokan etc. (i.e. style vs style but its the hybrid MMA styles) in some compromise rules I think that could be neat
