Not sure if true, but someone said earlier in a forum that his fiance died a couple days before his last fight and he didn't tell anyone, went on to fight. Apparently Dana got word on this afterwards and gave him a bonus and told he should never have fought but Dana would remember him. The earlier poster claimed he had to pull the plug on his lady like 36 hours before the fight or something.

If you can't root for a guy who went through all that (allegedly) and still fought anyway, then you have no heart.
