UFC 232 PBP/Discussion

where is officer_brown, MMAbetting?
These guys were back then in 2015 the best

Damn line moved $0.50 just after I chucked a few bucks on Uriah hall tonight. He's paying $2.50 right now, got him at evens. Almost suspicious line movement.

WTF! Hall +156 on Pinnacle. What happened?

Completely disagree. Landed way more strong clean strikes in every round and almost finished him in the 3rd, Siyar had maybe 3-6 good shots per round. 2nd was close and have no problems scoring that for Siyar, however no idea how you can argue Siyar could have won that 3rd round, he had what, a flurry in the first 20 seconds and a strong right hand somehwere in the middle there? Meanwhile Curtis beating the piss out of him the whole time on the feet, almost finishes him if not for a takedown that was only for survival and not damage.
Had that third round taken place on the feet for about 20-30 more seconds it would have been 10-8. Wasn't far from being one as it was

Siyar got the second pretty easily with that grappling and finishing on top. 3rd was all Millender but once he got takendown repeatedly it was too close and if he then ended the round with Siyar on top again there's a high chance he'd of lost that round and the fight. It was a close fight.

Man I feel like defensive boxing in the UFC these days is becoming more and more rare. Too many up and comers blocking punches with their chin
boxing is way to diffucult they, thats the reason why the became mma fighters :D
Trust me, boxing is where the money is

Watched an old Brad Pickett fight earlier and noticed how good his defence was. So many guys are going to that Muay Thai style now and can barely slip a punch.

Not a chance. He did zero with the TD's and was nearly unconscious.

Added more on Uriah, this price is nuts: Uriah Hall (+155) vs Bevon Lewis $200.00 for $310.00

Uriah Hall is the better striker from distance, while Bevon Lewis is the better mid-range and clinch striker.

Let's see if Lewis can back Hall up against the cage so he can start unloading on Hall.

This isnt 2008 anymore, just securing a takedown and laying on them for 40 seconds is not going to do anything on scorecards unless literally nothing else happened in the round. I cant understand how you can score round 3 for Siyar even if he ended the fight with the takedown and in top position. He gets the fight for 2 takedowns probably 45-70 seconds of top control? vs Curtis doing real damage on the feet including almost finishing Siyar.

If Hall could survive that first minute the rest should be easy now.

Hope Lewis knows Uriah’s ground game is trash. Feel like he should be pushing him against the cage more and working for a take down

Is anyone ever betting Hall?

Grappling scores and multiple takedowns like that plus finishing on top is big. We've seen it plenty of times.
Judge's are getting better. And the TD's score sure, but he never even was in control in a dominant position in the third. Millender actively scrambling and improving position the whole time. One of the judges gave millender the 2nd so use that to reference how far away he was to winning that third.

hall one step behind the whole round. something needs to change big time.

R1: Lewis (Hall didn't throwing nearly enough to secure the round)
