UFC 295 Tapology Contest

Welcome to the vBookie MMA Tapology contest.

The rules are simple. Participants will place a Tapology card in the thread. Winners will be determined by the number of correct picks they make, however, if there is a need for a tie breaker, perfect picks will be handled differently. Perfect decision picks will be worth half a point and determining a finish will be worth a full point.

2 million for 1st
1 million for 2nd
500k for 3rd

Place your wagers here...

Was going to ask who you got in the Aspinall fight. I'm leaning Aspinall

Seems it might be the kind of situation where both sides sound logical before the fight and hindsight looks really good (as it does) after the fight.

Maybe it is about those who have the feeling that Aspinall is the future champion vs.
those who wonder how it will be for him to take such a steep step up in competition. And because Pavlovich supposedly has been training with Jon Jones in mind. Thus slightly leaning toward Pavlovich seemed reasonable to me, while someone I know irl who otherwise thinks similarly is slightly leaning toward Aspinall.

I'll likely end up picking Aspinall. Have a feeling he'll get him down and tko him

I’m picking Sergei over Tom I like em both but, Sergei has been in camp longer as the backup for Jones Vs Stipe, so I have to give him the edge on that one, and he’s been training takedown defence at AKA non stop from what I have seen on social media, I like em both though

Well Sergei Got KTFO but happy for Tom, also happy for Alex but early stoppage

Can he do what Reem did? Pavlovich hasn't fought anyone in the UFC that is as well rounded as Reem, *until now* Reem straight up exposed Pav. Aspinall does have the speed and agility to grab him and take him down, perhaps the way he took Volkov and Arlovski down, but Aspinall hasn't really grinded anyone on the fence for takedowns the way Reem did to Pav.

Will Pavlovich go down as easy as Volkov and Arlovski? Aspinall showed excellent speed for those takedowns but he has never really been in there with a killer headhunter with one punch ko power. The majority of Aspinalls opponents have been slower and less prone to win striking exchanges giving Aspinall the advantage to get in for quick takedowns. If Pav doesnt go down on the quick takedown shots, can Aspinall grind him to the ground. If not, I see no other way and Aspinall is too open on his feet
