they should do an event in Greece where all of it started as a sport
Yeah and bring back the Gladiator-themed intro if they have an event in Rome. Near the Colosseum and all that.....They could definitely do an event in Rome though, that would be cool as well.
They don’t need a title on the line. London is just as important of a place as Paris and a title was never contested there (atleast not in recent history). Are they really going to debut in Paris France without a title on the line? I guess Gane is your ME. But that seems like a pretty weak way to debut in such an historic place. Is this specifically a FN card? Because that would make sense. But it wouldn’t make sense not to have a title or two on the line, and making it a big ppv, all things considered.

Yeah, but the UFC has screwed the locals before to make the timezones work for the N American ppv audience.I guess the time zone and possible hard time selling a big arena are factors here.
US troglodytes are still the ones buying PPVs, we Euros have TV and streaming deals for the same events.

It just seems like a big opportunity. The first time ever in Paris. Even if you get Whittaker for the co-main. It just seems a bit flat. There’s only ONE first time for anything.
No matter. I’ll be watching whomever is on the card.
They’ve sold out similar shows already. Why wouldn’t Paris sell out? It’s a world class city known to never sleep. You don’t think 20K Euros would buy tickets to an all nighter of the first UFC show in the country? You can’t be serious?I really doubt they'll sell many tickets in Paris for a UFC event taking place in the middle of the night and finishing after 6am. But I could be wrong, I have no data.

Agree to disagree.France is a bit different. MMA was banned from TV until a couple of years ago.
Probable fights on the cards: Gane-Tuivasa and Whittaker-Vettori.
Likely other french fighters on the cards: Fiorot (vs Valentina?), Imavov, St Denis.
Plausible future signings: Taylor Lapilus, Abdoul Abdourakimov, Oumar Sy, Lucie Berthaud
Speculative future signings: Cedric Doumbe, Mansour Barnaoui
