NFL cardio is different. They have good long term endurance cardio because they exert in short bursts with equal or greater breaks in between bursts, so they can do that for 4 hours.

But make them continue on past their comfortable energy burst without getting the needed break and they crumble.

Fight cardio is distinctly different than any other because of the fear/adrenaline factor combined with the cardio draw, and the fact that under pressure you can't get a break without quitting/losing.
