The first mma merch I ever bought was his blue samurai dethrone hat (I drunkenly lost it while partying at a waterfall and still miss it). He was the first fighter I ever actually truly loved to follow. He is the goat in my mind; I believe that during his prime he could fight any fighter, in their prime and at the same weight, ten times and he wouldn’t lose to any of them in more than once.

Sad day to see him go, but I wish him nothing but the best.
