Reneau showed who she really is when she fought Holm, she was totally content with doing nothing and losing the fight rather than taking a chance to win. I know Bethe will fight for my money and she has so many advantages going into this fight. At worst this is a close fight for Bethe. Eye and Pennington are better opponents and better strikers than Reneau and Bethe showed she belonged at that level. She's 100% improved since the Rousey loss, anyone can see that.

Well to be fair, there was quite a bit to improve on after getting put out cold by a judo/grappling specialist in like 10 seconds. But she has definitely improved her striking since then I will say that. I give Reneau the power and athleticism (obviously lol) advantage and she has a 4' reach advantage which she usually uses well with a long, consistent jab. Pennington also had a lot of success against Bethe in the clinch and we just saw Reneau use the clinch to maul dudieva. If Reneau would mix her game up more with takedowns, more clinch fighting, etc. I would be all over her, but at times she is content to stay at range and not throw enough.


And if she wasn't a 40-year-old mom with a job..

OK, once more, you said there were "three split decisions in favor of the Brazilian."

Shogun and Moicano are both Brazilian. The judges award of them the closest fights. That is TWO if you are counting and you are.

This only leaves one more fight which is Moraes > Chagas. BOTH of them are Brazilian fighters. How can the judges in Brazil show favoritism towards a Brazilian fighter when both of them are… Drumroll please… Brazilian

I'm pretty torn on Borg/Formiga. Borg looks so good against decent to mediocre competition (Smolka and Herrera). But then got crushed by Scoggins.I feel like he'll definitely be the faster and more athletic of the two, but Formiga is so crafty and has been in there with the best in the division. I feel like Borg's athleticism is going to be the deciding factor. At only 23 years old, I think his ceiling is very high I'm going with Borg decision at +159
