With 2 Bellator cards and a UFC 244 card with a fight so juicy I already taped and put 4u down on it and might add more, I was pleased that I taped 6 whole fights for this one (Pavlovich-Greene, Hughes-Pessoa, and Albu-Lookboonme were all no-bets).
What I'm not pleased with is the fucking horrid prices I got. Holy shit did I get line movement wrong all week. I wanted to play Mayes when he was +305 but figured he would keep rising against a hyped prospect in Gane, similar to Sosoli against Inhalerman last week. Naturally, he crashes to +230, instead, which was the break-even point for my capping. And the less said about my price on Markos, the better;
2.5u on Markos at -155
1.5u on Gane-Mayes over 1.5 rounds at +140
1.5u on Starapoli at +145
Zero live-bets, since until the main event, I was using a stream that was an amazing 80 seconds behind.
I've live-bet many times when my stream was 30-45 seconds behind, but 80 is ridiculous.
Anywho, +2.2u overall. Funnily enough, my shitty lines both hurt and helped me, and ended up canceling themselves out. On the one hand, I missed out on an extra 0.7u in not getting Markos at -110 while risking the same amount.
On the flip-side, Mayes' odds worsening made me avoid betting him, and how much was I going to bet? Exactly 0.7u. Not even kidding.
Don't mind my Staropoli bet, either. He showed titanic improvement from his pre-UFC fights to Aldana, and then monstrous improvement against from Aldana to Alves, but his improvements from Alves to Salikhov were small, if any.
Meanwhile, Salikhov, at 35, looked better and crisper than ever, with a few technical improvements, which was certainly unexpected. I do think Staropoli made a mistake in not letting his hands go more in round 2, too.
The Gane-Mayes over and Markos-Yoder bets were far from certain, with a few new wrinkles to the games of both Gane and Yoder, but there was enough that remained the same for them to hit, anyways.
Now it's time to sleep, and I look forward to UFC 244.
Edit-
I was so tired that I originally wrote +2.1u instead of +2.2u, heh.
