Not really sure what the UFC or commission can do to stop this. I think they would have to change the rulebooks a bit to do so.

Getting a State cornering license is as easy as paying the small fee and every fighter, no matter the promotion, always is granted corner passes whether it be 2-4 people no matter coaching credentials/experience.

As long as all the arrangements are made before hand, you can technically “auction” those few positions off.


The reason they never thought of this is because of the severity of injury that can occur in combat, you would want the wisest people you can trust giving you advice.

UFC sets the rules, they can just tell him if he doesn’t fuck off he will he cut, this will only happen if they want it to

Cornermen have to all wear UFC gear right? Like that one guy got told off for having a sticker on his shirt or something? So its not really a good way for advertisers to get in there, if the CamSoda people send one of their girls, she will just have to wear same clothes, and its not like being in someone's corner gets you much exposure anyway. If this becomes a trend, it will probably be celebrity friends, or rich people with egos who want to feel like they were part of the winning team
