I doubt Sony had all that much much say in it. They just care about money. At the end of the day, these are optional costumes. Perhaps the developers felt the need to offer something to the crowd out there that would be offended by the hyper-sexualized outfits, but that's about all I can see. It just seems like they're giving people options, rather than censorship. It's not like they scrapped the original design or anything. You'll probably get like 50 more outfits in DLC for this shit as time goes on. Some more revealing, some less.
Sony has all of the say, it's a PS5 exclusive, sold / played through their platform and service. They care about money, and hypocritical woke "outcry." At the end of the day, these costumes are censored, yet other, more revealing sexual content, does not get censored, sold on their platform. It's hypocritical, double standard, dishonest behavior.
