Virtue Signaling in Gaming Megathread, v.1

dude you resort to the lamest personal attacks, incel, and i've never touched a woman? judging from these brief interactions with your lame ass, i'm positive i've fucked way hotter women than you ever have, 100%.

also, it's called censorship you fucking moron. costumes were censored. quit being a disingenuous loser.
Bro you joined this site in 2004, assuming you were a young man when you first joined that means you’re around 40 years old. Here you are spending that time crying over 1 outfit that shows a bit less of digital tits when there is still 73 other outfits that do reveal skin. You’re a loser dude, nobody with healthy relationship with women acts like this.

Says the guy arguing with a "loser." What does that make you then? Fucking low intellect disingenuous dork.

The game was censored, and there's an obvious double standard, that you can't admit because you have a smooth brain.

Yeah dude you’re too far gone, imagine protesting an amazing game that respects gamers, you guys deserve the industry you love to complain about.

Imagine being as dumb as you are, and ignoring the question, flip flopping on censorship, and immediately resorting to lame ass personal attacks that also are self-insulting. LOL dude. You're an absolute trip and moron.

Why does Stellar Blade get censored and BG3/Cyberpunk remain criticism free? Weird....

So it can get much weirder than any R-rated movie.

While true. This goes against the design of the game, is player driven content and has built in parental controls to exclude it.

Connan Exiles and Rust has these features for players yet maintain a M rating.

This goes against the design of the game,

You can re-class any character to be a monk, which must not wear any armor to be effective in combat.

So yes, an entire squad of naked characters can be used to beat the entire game.
has built in parental controls to exclude it.
So? Thats to make it easier for streamers.

Can't think of a more useless feature in a M-Rated game than 'parental controls.'

Come on man please don't insult him. Zazen is a cool dude. Everyone in this thread is. We can disagree and still love games and each other

Sorry, Zazen wants to throw insults first, then this is what happens. If you can't handle it, don't dish it out.

but the blame has to go on Sony as well. they allow games that show far more sexual content BG3/Cyberpunk, and sell them on their platform without a peep. But Stellar Blade is censored. it's an obvious double standard, one that many people for some reason cannot admit, or answer why.
I doubt Sony had all that much much say in it. They just care about money. At the end of the day, these are optional costumes. Perhaps the developers felt the need to offer something to the crowd out there that would be offended by the hyper-sexualized outfits, but that's about all I can see. It just seems like they're giving people options, rather than censorship. It's not like they scrapped the original design or anything. You'll probably get like 50 more outfits in DLC for this shit as time goes on. Some more revealing, some less.

Sony has all of the say, it's a PS5 exclusive, sold / played through their platform and service. They care about money, and hypocritical woke "outcry." At the end of the day, these costumes are censored, yet other, more revealing sexual content, does not get censored, sold on their platform. It's hypocritical, double standard, dishonest behavior. Rules for thee. BG3/Cyberpunk literally has full frontal nudity. But this game gets censored for hip skin? Cleavage? Make it make sense, somebody.

The developer for months/years hyped, marketed the game as not going to be censored, internationally. Then the day of, they release a patch, after the outcry starts.

Their censoring the game, they censored the costumes, and that's why people are upset. They scrapped the original designs of multiple costumes. Their has been no word yet if they will undo what they did.

Sure, but doesn't that destroy your narrative that Sony gives a shit? If you can play BG3 naked, as a male or female, what the fuck do they care about some outfits in a different game?

I could understand if they were just highlighting the "gaaaaaay", but that doesn't seem to be the case. In both Cyberpunk and BG3, it's a level playing field. It's not like you can only manipulate the penis size of your male characters, and everything else is neutered. Tits and ass are out all the same.

I'm not ignorant to the fuckery that is going on with woke "consultants" like SBI steering games in a certain direction, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Just seems like they're giving people options.

It doesn't destroy it at all, it proves there's a double standard because they DO give a shit. That's the whole question. You can play BG3 naked, you can choose your penis length options, you can watch your penis jiggle physics, so WHY do they care about cleavage in a different game, all of a sudden?

You can't have a double standard, if the standard is "anything goes". You're hung up on the penis thing, while ignoring that they allow fully naked females with their tits and asses in those games as well.

It's not a Sony thing. This developer may have felt that giving people more options would be best, but Sony didn't come down from the mountaintop and command that they neuter everything, 'cause tits are the devil's utters or anything. The fact that there are still VERY revealing outfits at the ready for anyone who wants them, doesn't do much in the way in proving that they're censoring anything. They're just giving people options.

It is a double standard, if they allow games with far more sexual content, and then censor the one that does 1% of those games. That is the double standard. And the penis thing is just a primary example, of the degenerate content that is uncensored. Full frontal nudity, bestiality, all exist as well, completely uncensored on their platform.

It is 100% a Sony thing, they are the publisher, they decide what to publish. And in this instance, BG3/Cyberpunk gets a complete pass, showing far more. While Stellar Blade under that same supposed scrutiny, ratings system, does not. It's censorship, you didn't get an option to play with the uncensored costumes. No you're forced to download a day one patch. Makes no sense, it's an obvious double standard.
