His best win is Charles Olivera from 3 years a go... That was a drained by the cut Olivera to at 145

Olivera would fuck him up now

hes a lower top 10 guy. never had the tools to be champ but hes a nice gatekeeper and will stay ranked until he declines enough

He used to be but he needs to retire now.

Lamas is pretty decent he has decent standup good grappling and is very well-rounded in general . He is also a very underrated finisher he has like only 2 decision wins in the UFC.

Oliveira weighed in at 155 so he wasnt really "drained".

He fought for the title at one point in one of the deepest divisions in the sport, so I'd guess he was pretty good.

If a fighter ever reaches the top 10 in the world in his weight class I think it's safe to say he was "good".

Joined on 2015 and doesn't know if Lamas was "ever good", wow :(

We literally know his name 'cause he made it to the biggest league in the entire sport. It's not for us to say he's bad. Unless you wanna be known as 'one of them' guys that talk the talk but wont ever walk. Don't be one of them posers. We shouldn't be so judgmental about professionals whose business we decide to make our own. Especially since most people will never be a known name in the sport we claim to love.

He was a good fighter; a bit past his prime now. Thats ok; most good fighters don't become champ.

....Uh of course, the guy managed to earn a UFC title shot.

He's definitely had his far share of good performances and fights in the UFC. His fights against Cub Swanson, Erik Koch and Jason Knight were all good performances.

The Holloway fight was also a good fight.

Yes he was very good and well rounded. It was fun seeing him destroy Knight
