Besides taking a good long rest.

Feel free to give suggestions.

He needs to take 8 to 10 months off to heal his brain. Then do one PFL fight and maybe one more boxing match and retire. Even though he got laid out he still has some star power and can use that to make money like Conor is and just become a celebrity. Too many more loses and that cash cow power will fade.

Retire. All the fans saying he should continue fighting are thinking about themselves and their macabre entertainment, not the well being and future of the fighter. He has made more money in a few months than most men ever make in their lives. That money has come at the tail end of decades of living and training. Good for him.

He will lose all of that money fast if he doesn't cut ties with his entourage. He should disappear and live a modest, low key lifestyle; and invest some of the money in a modest and stable business for the long term well being of himself and his family.

Its a tough choice, MMA comeback doesnt seem easy in Renan Ferreira, how's the expected pay for that one? I would say its a very slightly less risky fight than going for a 3rd boxing fight, considering he will most likely only fight at the top of the food chain, who is he realistically going to box? And for how much money?

Whoever pay he most i think should be the option, retire win or lose, if he takes the MMA route it will still be over a year for him to fight again, that if he wins.

PS: For PFL to match boxing money they will lose money on Francis, they might not be so eager to make it happen after last night.
