Theres no need to pass a law, they already do this. And I'm talking about the commonality of it. All farming practices are reactions to climate change, or are you not aware of the effects of climate on crops? Fallowing isnt being done at the scale it's being done right now to mitigate climate change, it's being done because of climate change.

Fallowing is an ancient practice so its not something that needs to be because of climate change. It needs to be done regardless of any changes in the climate.

I already gave you one. Switching to nuclear power which most republicans are in favor would be of far greater benefit to the environment than all the mickey mouse solutions the left proposes and wouldn't ruin the economy either.

Having observed some right wingers who claim to care about the environment their strategy is reallly preserving small corners individually they care about just like with people. It is the environmental version of private charity.

And this is only the relatively superficial issue of pollution.There is no strategy to protect the world and it's resources from development or climate change they are ok with capitalism destroying the world by and large. And if they aren't they just are in denial about these things. They just do not understand that a system that infinitly expands has limits. I've even seen right wingers mock socialists for thinking the world is finite and that economic growth is a zero sum game that can't save everyone because you can just keep growing. When you confont them about this they just say "we'd never run out of this" and there's really nothing behind that except it being convienant for them to believe that. They just have substituted their BS economics for science in many ways.

I've yet to see a solution proposed by the left that would make a damn bit of difference. Climate change is real, the "solutions" are a hoax meant to grab power and distract the public.

We are well into the steep part of the carbon cycle, we got here quicker than we would have if we hadn't released so many greenhouse gasses, but the ball is rolling down hill now, if we stop pushing it won't slow down meaningfully.
