Yes. Not by choice. This was forced on me decades ago when a friend had an insufferable man-crush on Crowe at his peak. I'm not saying it wasn't a good movie or performance, I'm just saying I was dragged into the viewing without the most enthusiastic mindset.

American History X quite easily.

Training Day was decent but it was ridiculous to pretend all of that shit was happening in one fucking day. You'd be hard pressed to make all of that happen in one week.

This just shows how deep Denzel goes into character. Training Day is the better film, hands down.
