Sterling is fighting in a higher weight class against a much higher ranked opponent … so it’s expected his fight would be tougher and he would have to lean into his strengths

He’s also turning 35 and did absolutely nothing to make a case for a title shot (which according to him was his goal)

He was content playing it safe and holding onto positions which is good enough for the W but probably doesn’t achieve what he wants career trajectory wise
