Elections Will Trump be on the primary and/or general ballot? (SCOTUS says Trump will remain 9-0)

This should be interesting when the weapon the democrats are using is turned against them. I'm sure right now people are looking at ways to remove creepy Joe.

The crying "you can't do what we did" will be loud.

well hey, hopefully the supreme court will decide to take up issue on that presidential immunity thing and declare that a president is not subject to follow the constitution. wouldn't that be great?

then sovereign president brandon can simply just lose the election and just say fuck you, i'm above the law. i'm not subject to your constitution, rules for thee and not for me, suckers! i ain't going anywhere. i'll do whatever the fuck i want, sniff whoever i want, read whatever my teleprompter tells me to read, have my afternoon naps at whatever climate conferences i want, smoke as much crack with my degenerate son as i want, and do whatever my handlers in china tell me to do. i'm a president and not an officer, justice, congressman, or senator, so that oath i sworn on to defend the constitution means absolutely nothing!

isn't that what you guys want? a president that remains in office, even after losing an election? isn't that what over 1200 of you guys got your stupid asses arrested for after that whole sightseeing tour thing at the capitol? isn't that your endgame goal here? having a president who can do whatever he wants as he pleases? a president who can commit whatever crimes he wants and is not subject to the rule of law? a president who will do whatever it takes just to keep that @POTUS account and fire off mean tweets, even if he has to shit all over the constitution and engage in an insurrection just to do it? a president who doesn't have to worry about getting indicted and prosecated for his terrible crimes because he's immune to prosecution? a president who wouldnt even have to worry about pardoning himself for crimes because he is completely above the law?

free and fair elections are for suckers. aint nobody got time for that shit. especially when your party is morally bankrupt and can no longer win their elections. let's make authoritarianism great again!

LOLLLLLLL you gonna be real upset when Trump wins 2024 huh ?
I don't understand who wouldn't be

Trump praises Xi's dictatorship plans saying 'maybe we'll give that a shot' –

"A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution," Trump wrote on Truth Social on December 3, 2022. "Our great 'Founder' did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!"

"I got to know a lot of the foreign leaders and unlike our leader, they're at the top of their game. These are like central casting. There's nobody that could play the role in Hollywood—all of Hollywood, nobody could play the role of President Xi of China...He's a fierce person," the ex-president said.

"Putin, fierce—they're smart. You know a lot of times I'll say somebody's smart and the fake news will go 'He called President Xi smart.' He rules with an iron fist 1.5 billion people, yeah I'd say he's smart," Trump then added.

"One thing I've learnt, President XI of China's one hundred percent. Putin of Russia, 100 percent," Trump said at the time. "These people are sharp and they are smart. Joe has lost it, in his best day he wasn't not a smart man, everybody knows that."

It's pretty clear how he wants to rule - that's rule, not govern. If you're into that I feel sorry for you.

Then charge him with the crime you say he committed and if found guilty then jail him.

But this is political only because creepy Joe is so bad he could actually lose to Trump. And by hook or crook you can't allow that. The ends justifies the means, right.

Yeah winning an election is tough for republicans

Trump as bad as he is beat Hillary.

Now you guys are so scared Trump will beat creepy Joe that by hook or crook you can't even take the chance of him running.

Pathetic. Even after all the signaling and charging they did to him. They still know he will win so they are literally removing him from the race.. ironic
It's too protect democracy by denying people the ability to vote for him.

i dont think you really understand. or think this means what i think you want it to mean. those rulings havent been reversed. they havent changed. they arent going anywhere unless a higher court orders them to.

if nothing happens between now and the day before those states certification deadlines, the colorado stay and self imposed maine "suspensions" that were put on by the very same "chicken shits" who issued their ruling against trump on the very same hour of the very same days in which they ruled on it will be lifted, and colorado and maine will go along with business as usual.

these aren't people being chickens. these are people who are ruling against trump but still allowing him his due process to contest these rulings against him this is business as usual.

but right now donny boy is running thin on time, so he better make some magic happen if he wants to change anything that's been ruled against him. a tad bit ironic seeing a guy who's only means of obtaining court victories has been by stalling out his lawsuits for as long as he can, and here he is fighting for time while the deadline clocks are running down on him. i'll bet he doesnt like that one bit. especially knowing that the election boards have their own strict schedules to adhere to, and it is baked right into their state code of law statutes. it really sucks when the court system, the election department, and the rest of the government do not work their schedules based on donald trump's feelings or tee times.

this whole thing is one big mess. i never thought it would go anywhere, and this whole thing started in colorado was supposed to be a longshot. but here we are once again, with a whole bunch of conservatives who are apparently so supportive about states rights are now screaming that the supreme court should have some kind of say over how states are supposed to conduct their own state-run elections, all because a bunch of states would rather go by the constitution and not have an insurrectionists on their ballot. .

Holy shit its as if he saw trump in his nightmares

What's equally interesting is that, within that same missive, he refers to the President as an "officer". Whether or not the POTUS is an officer of the government is something that many on the pro-Trump side argue about. But it's clear from Jefferson's writing and Jefferson's expectation of the Adams, to whom he was writing, that they see the Presidency as an office of the government and the elected individual as an "officer".

She didn’t chicken out and reverse anything. Jesus, people. She made a decision but stayed the ruling—meaning it does not go into effect—until the state Superior Court reviews it. This was always part of the decision, it’s not a change or reversal.

Colorado’s state Supreme Court did the same thing when they made their decision—they stayed the ruling until Jan 4 so that SCOTUS could review it.

I guess these types of misunderstandings are bound to occur when you get your news from….*checks notes*….”Taylor Incognita” on Twitter.

Even thought I agree with the decision I feel like this will just galvanize his base even more. Maybe even some people that are in the middle. The supreme court temporarily delayed ruling on these matters but they will vote in his favor when they do. The Dems need a better candidate for 2024. That's the better to make sure Trump isn't reelected.

Genuine question: Trump's supporters will be as rabid as ever after all these actions.

Does that actually make his base grow, though? He wasn't close to winning the last election. He'll need to find millions of additional voters. I don't know that strength of feeling among his support will do it. They don't get to vote twice just because they feel strongly about it.

I imagine many Americans are even more turned off by his base being so adamant Trump cannot be punished like this. They might not approve of Biden, but Trump is a clown.

They want the Vice President to be able to unilaterally decide who wins a Presidential election

Then charge him with the crime you say he committed and if found guilty then jail him.

But this is political only because creepy Joe is so bad he could actually lose to Trump. And by hook or crook you can't allow that. The ends justifies the means, right.

the courts could find him guilty on 219347 counts of "insurrection to the 45'th degree" the supreme court could shut down each and every one of his appeals, and it still wouldn't be acceptable to you if they kept him off the ballots. you muppets would just find a different way to spin and twist yourselves into pretzels while trying to defend your favorite election-losing fraudster and rapist

and no, this is not political. if donald trump would have just conceded and walked away like every other failed presidential candidate in the history of every single election has ever done, none of this shit would be happening. he wouldn't be getting charged with all of these serious crimes because he never would have committed them. donald trump screwed donald trump! and all of those fine patriots wouldn't be taking their peaceful and orderly tours of the american justice system because they wouldn't have taken their peaceful and orderly tours of the capitol on january 6'th.

an other than losing his business licenses and properties and getting sued out of the ass after committing all that fraud in new york, and getting indidcted after taking $130,000 out of his campaign funds to pay off that whore from the gangbang videos who he cheated on his wife with while she was caring to their newborn son, i really don't think that this devoted christian family man would have really had anything to worry about had he just accepted his defeat and fucked off. after all, ripping off big banks and fucking a bunch of crusty old porn stars ain't gonna get you disqualified from any ballots. i mean shit, wild bill got a blowie in the oval office. ain't nobody gonna brand you as an insurrectionist just because you got your dick wet.

and i don't know why you guys keep going with the "they are only doing this because they are scared of trump winning" narrative especially after trump just had the most people in the history of the nations election vote against him, and biden already kicked his ass. and especially in maine, where a republican hasn't won a presidential election in over 30 years, or in colorado where a republican hasn't won in over 2 decades, and donald trump lost bigly in both of those states in both of his elections. what are they supposed to be afraid of? having to get their foot surgically removed from donald trump's colon after they kick his ass again?

look i dont care what your name is, where you come from, what party you belong to or what kind of crimes you did. if you can manage to get over 81 million people to vote against you in a presidential election and they decide to elect a senile old dementia-ridden bag of bones who can't even draw a crowd or form a coherant sentence, then i will tell you two things for free. #1: It's clear the voters don't really care who they are voting for, just as long as it's not you. and #2: It's time to ignore your biggest fans and yes-men, and hang up your gloves, because you are never going to win another election again.
