I fucking called it.
You didn’t call anything. This is what the xmen have always been about.
I fucking called it.
People seem to forget during the 1980s the Xmen covered stories about colossus being a socialist, atheist from communist Russia. If I remember correctly he was a staunch atheist and he would have conversations with Kurt Wagner about it all the time. Kurt was highly religious. You literally couldn’t be labeled worse during the Reagan Era. A commie atheist FROM russia. Lol come on
Xmen taking about social issues is nothing new. Hell they were created as a allegory to the civil rights movement.
Some of you claim to be comic book fans or fans of these characters yet some of you guys have no clue about anything. Like @GearSolidMetal
Imagine being a "fan" of the xmen of all things, and thinking social commentary is out of place. You didn’t call anything. This is what the xmen have always been about.

Damn right she was thicc tooI hated a major crush on a Rogue as a kid.

The entire backdrop is an allegory for the civil rights movement ffs. I'm baffled anyone could read the comic or watch the cartoon and fail to grasp that.
Yeah he's one of those guys that calls everything woke and thinks the entire world is out to slander white men. Doesn't like minorities, but hides that behind complaints that everything is woke or anti white, because openly displaying racism is frowned on these days. This is something he does constantly. I had a disagreement with him once because he claimed today’s marvel comics are nothing but “one woke title after another.” So I asked him what he’s been reading since I have a subscription to the Marvel Unlimited app and keep myself somewhat up to date on what’s happening in the universe. To my surprise (sarcasm) he doesn’t read any titles, doesn’t have the app and was fully triggered about an article he read about 1-2 titles marvel will produce. So of course that means all of marvel is a woke dumpster fire and everything they put out is the same way. Of course he was completely wrong

Does anyone remember the Grant Morrison created Sunni Muslim girl born in Afghanistan, who was created about a year after 9/11 happened? Her name was Dust.
or Senator Robert Kelly from the early 2000s Xmen movies. A character based off of Cold War conservative personality traits.
honesty some of you need to wake the Fuck up
This shite interests you? A character called snowflake?
You said Marvel isn't woke. What does this post have to do with the Xmen? And no I like the 90s new warriors series personally.
You said Marvel isn't woke.

That title was cancelled cause it was horrible and it was from 2020. It’s now 2022. Having 1-2 titles like that out of 50 published monthly titles Doesn’t make a company have a woke agenda
there is so much solid stuff you can read and never even notice that 1 awful new warriors title that was a complete bomb.
You can read Hulk, Daredevil, The Eternals etc etc snd never be disturbed by this fake boogeyman you’re so afraid of
It's not just that title, it's also the constant changing of the gender/race of characters. Same goes for sexuality. Admittedly I'm not a huge superheros genre fan so it doesn't matter that much to me. But it looks pretty woke to me.
