Up £1591 including lb. My little lotto ticket was looking good too until mm and jj did what the other was supposed to do!

Bad night. Down 8.8u and could have been a lot worse had I not shifted some of my action from MM Dec and UD to MM -5.5. Lost almost 9u and feel lucky to get out with just that. First losing UFC event for me in quite awhile. Can't win 'em all.

Pretty disappointed that Efrain Escudero and Dominique Steele both lost close decisions as big underdogs on the prelims that easily could- and probably should- have went their way. Would have made a nice winning night for me. Jones not finishing also cost me pretty big. So instead, a moderate loss of -2.26 units for the card.

Can't complain but hindsight is a bit of a bitch for this card. Anyways, a return is a return.

What should been a couple of unit winning night turned into a couple of unit losing night thanks to a BS decision against Steele. Terrible decision

I don't think it was terrible. Steele was hugging him against the cage he did nothing else besides his good first round. I put £250 on Roberts either at end of r1 or early r2 and i then hedged off almost completely with a similar bet on Steele at start of r3. I did this because i had no idea how this was going to be scored - it was that close. I thought Steele was going to get the nod but i can see how it was scored for Roberts too.

    UFC 197 Betting Results

    €100
    on Edson Barboza @ 2.37 = €237.50

    €300.62
    on Danny Roberts @ 1.28 + Sergio Pettis @ 1.44 + Robert Whittaker @ 1.30 = €564.50
Danny Roberts was a void bet because some genius over at WH named the opponent of Danny Roberts "Saigon Jokers" instead of "Dominique Steele". So they called it a void bet. Otherwise I would have gotten about €720

    €450 on Jon Jones @ 1.17 + Demetrious Johnson @ 1.22 + Robert Whittaker @ 1.30 + Danny Roberts @ 1.28 = €834.17
AGAIN, Danny Roberts was a void bet, otherwise I would have gotten about €1100

    €500 on Jon Jones @ 1.17 + Demetrious Johnson @ 1.22 + Robert Whittaker @ 1.30 + Carla Esparza @ 1.53 = €1421.17

    €120 on Kevin Lee @ 1.28 + Marcos De Lima @ 1.73 + Cody East @ 1.61 + James Vick @ 1.53 + Carla Esparza @ 1.53 + Danny Roberts @ 1.28 + Sergio Pettis @ 1.44 + Yair Rodriguez @ 1.61 + Robert Whittaker @ 1.30 + Demetrious Johnson @ 1.22 + Jon Jones @ 1.17 = €0
10/11 CORRECT, Cody East lost otherwise I would have made about €5000!!!

    TOTOL PROFIT: 1706,72

Should have been more like €2100 but the Danny Roberts situation cost me about €400 to €500. Whatever ;-)

I fucking lost Pettis... how could you see Barbosa winning?!?!

Please be my teacher, what are you going to bet in the next.

I have Werdum and Maia for sure, what do you think?

Most people in this section was on Barboza because of line value. He is one of the best strikers in the UFC. Considering that this was most likely gonna take place on the feet all 15 min it was pretty much a 50/50 fight so therefor the value was on the dog (Barboza)

Yeah i know, Barboza is top Tier on his feet, but i was sure that Pettis would found a way to take him down...
I was absolutely sure that this is not going to take place 15 min on their feets...

It was a 50/50 fight but Barboza had the better odds, so I went with Barboza.
    No value with Pettis.

I always decide about 2 days before the event on what bets to place.
I need to make my research before betting (look at interviews, read training news, watch each fighters last fight, read what other experts predict, look at the odds and compare and so on...)

Yeah but Pettis is not known for taking guys down ;-) If you take him down he can snatch a submission, but Barboza is not interested in getting fights to the ground.

I tried, I communicated via live chat and they wrote back that they can't do anything about it. It's a mispelling and in that case, even if it's not my mistake and my pick won, the bet is void. Sucks but whatever.
