Was planning a play on Frankie, but he's so much smaller in that face off, holy cow.

Roughly 29u up for this card and still probably have plays to make after the Luca movement; not happy about it. Hope he's on Vick after Barzola since I haven't booked my Polo bet yet

Media day staredowns are up. Interesting size different between Maia and Masvidal. We all knew Maia was bigger but the size difference is quite significant.

I agree that the size difference is big, but I don't know how you get that from that video. Mas is standing closer to the camera, and they are fully clothed so I don't see it in that video.
On shirtless weigh ins though we will really see the size diff.

He didnt break anything tho dude it was a nasty bruise. Knots/bruising dont take long to heal
Wait.. Didn't rda pull out of the McGregor fight with a nasty bruised/swollen foot? I don't believe rda foot was broke And it took him 8 weeks to get back to training? I'm done arguing, about this but I think it's foolish to think there's 0 chance that it didn't somewhat hinder Poirier training camp. I could be wrong. Cheers bro

I took the shot on Pettis DEC at +500. Cejudo, despite having those wrestling credentials has been more of a striker in the UFC, he may not go for that many td's. On top of that, Pettis has good technical TDD and its flyweight so scrambling up is much more likely.

Given that, I think there's a good chance this fight stays on the feet. I see the standup being pretty even. Pettis is good at point fighting and staying ahead on the cards. He could definitely win a close decision. All of Cejudo's striking affairs have been pretty close decisions.

Pretty sure RDA's foot was really broken. Conor spread the "bruised foot" rumor downplaying RDA's injury, and it obviously stuck in our minds :p

I'm on Stipe here, but I think you can attribute his gassing in the first fight to two things. One, JDS stuffed 17 of his 18 takedowns attempts (Hunt only stuffed 2 of 8). And two, JDS landed 45 shots to the body in the fight. Working that hard for takedowns that aren't coming plus absorbing that many body shots is extremely taxing to your cardio. I think Stipe would be wise to be a lot more selective with his shots this time around.

Yea but those numbers didn't occur in the first two rounds. He was spent for three straight rounds with jds. Jds couldn't take him out and was hurt by a very tired stipe a few times.

I do agree with those things contributing to stipe gassing, but I think his cardio holds up better this time.

He tried to implement the Cain strategy and was having a lot of success early on But the problem is he's not Cain, and Cain is the only freak who can fight like that for five rounds.

Jds has clear paths to victory and I'm not super confident in riding with stipe. Jds has better movement and boxing. Better power as well

I like the over. I liked betting the fight not to go the distance when it was around -160. Definitely not now.

Masvidal hurried off that stage knowing he's staring strangulation in the face

"During this camp I discovered a new transition to the back control," Maia told AG. Fight for FloCombat. "Besides the transition I made against Condit, I learned a new one that allows my submission to be more efficient. A student and friend gave me a tip, I made some adjustments of my own and mixed it with something Rilion [Gracie] once told me. I'm constantly learning.

"It changes a lot. Especially the back control. What I was doing a year ago is totally different form what I do now. It looks the same, but the details regarding the position of your body, arm control, angle and pressure are constantly being evolved. The difference between my submissions against Brown and Condit are clear. I put a lot of work there. After I fought Brown, I started to study the reason I had lost positions. I always do this kind of stuff and I was much more efficient against Condit."

Hello guys. A little off topic, but can any of the euro folks list me the books that offer live betting for MMA ?

I currently use Unibet and Bet365, but would like to spread my BR on a couple more books.

- Brutal camp mentally and physically
- Apparently didn't lift weights until this camp? Lifted weights for this one and focused on S&C overall this camp. More sessions/hours per day
- Feels he got a bit bigger from the extra S&C
- No injuries
- Feels disrespected by Edgar saying Yair is trying to build his name off of him
- Thinks it makes sense to fight the winner of Aldo/Holloway if he beats Edgar

- Still working part time as a firefighter/paramedic
- Feels its smart to have a backup plan / worked hard to become a fireman

You may be right, but Stipe did go 1 for 10 on takedown attempts in the first two rounds. If that happens again, I think it's pretty likely that it's going to effect his gas tank.
