In a better spot now than he has been in awhile. Seems to have found the fire a bit again. He won the first fight even when he was going through his shitty performances. He's faster. He has the TDD. He showed in the first fight he could even take Stipe down. Coaches are also talking about grappling maybe.

Stipe has done great lately but is getting tagged a lot still.

Is he in a better spot? He's not fought for thirteen months and has a kid that he takes to training most days (or just for the camera).

Miocic can make history if he can get the win here. He looks pretty determined. I think the odds are off here. I'm big on the champ either by early KO or points. JDS will gas come round 4

Craziest statistic of UFC 211

THIRTEEN

*13* Total number of significant strikes Demian Maia has absorbed in last FOUR fights!!!!!!'

Against the cream of the crop too! Carlos Condit, Gunnar Nelson, Matt Brown and Neil Magny

In-Fucking-Sane

Yea. I'm pumping brakes a bit on Maia. Will be a smal bet.

I do think it was Rory size that helped him. While Mas doesn't have it

But people acting like 1 side is easier to pick than the other are crazy

Maia has had what? A 30 second fight in how long? He's a bit of a gasser already and Mas is the EXACT type of fighter that could turn up the heat in rd 3

Literally nothing would surprise me much. Either guy winning or even a draw like u say

Yep.... I just have to play Demian at dog odds. Sure Mas can win, but uhe until Maia loses to him I'm riding that train..

I'd kill myself if Maia ran out and treats Gamebred like Condit.

as hard as i've researched this card, i really feel like i'm just straight up gambling this time. i'll be glad to come out with a small profit.

Sherman vs Coulter move to the FX portion? Guess I'll have some time to relax then with Benitez/Barzola and Casey/Aguilar back to back since those are the only two fights I don't have bets on

No way to know that JDS will gas come rd 4. It was Stipe who gassed first fight and really he could this time again if he goes for TDs and can't get them

And yes, I believe JDS is in a better spot now mentally than he was the first fight.

One thing, I didn't really like the way JDS looked at weigh ins. But anyway this is another close fight and I'm not gonna act like I know who will win

I go for value. JDS, Maia & Andrade all have + next to their names in what I consider toss ups.

I think a lot of people initially pick a side because they see value but then convince themselves they have picked locks. So many comments on these fights come off as guys trying to convince themselves they have the right side.

Some of the hyperbole was just crazy. I wouldn't be shocked if I lost all my bets this event. These are fukin close fights

Agree. I see great value in Andrade for instance. But I'm not feeling myself by thinking she will certainly win. I cap it 50/50. So +150 to +170 is awesome. But it's still god damn 50/50 imo

Sorry but winning on mma is not just down to value or even the perfect breakdown. There is an upset probably 1:4

The best way of winning is reading a fight in play and . I can't have that luxury being in Australia. So however you do it all that matters is winning and being up.....

Maia backers can relax, I put $900 on Masvidal. I have never won a large bet yet, so most likely Masvidal will lose. Of course i wish him to win, but hell, never have I won a large bet yet.

Can i ask what made you make him your biggest bet? I haven't decided who to back as yet. Was thinking the unders and hope its an explosive round 1

I was gonna make Stipe my biggest bet, but then some forum fellow called me a degenerate for that. I took no offense, but changed my mind. Having reviewed all of the predictions and analysis on the web, I am inclined to believe that Masvidal will keep it standing and make Maia look like a fool. I mean if it does not hit the ground, what is Maia going to do? After all Matt Brown lasted 3 rounds, but he is a brawler, Mas will turn lights out for Maia should the fight remain standing for 3 rounds. To top it off Dana White chickened out to bet $200 000 against Mas. (that is just a fun fact, nothing to do with the actual fight or the result of it). All Mas has to do is keep the fight standing. Accumulation of punches will make Maia gas, he is cutting weight too, so it is not like he is going to be Energizer bunny in the cage.

Win or lose, it is going to be easy money for me.
