Truth is, the grass is not greener on the other side. In the 1940s, there was war and women needed to train to be homemakers. It was an extremely respectable job. They learned to not just cook but to provide comfort and a sense of comfort. They were the back bone of society and as such, they EARNED the life of not having to work and enjoying a good chunk of their husbands paycheck.

I respect the original homemaker because it required sacrifice and dedication. Now women want to get tagged all day everyday without any care in the world and when their looks fade, they are ready to settle down and be taken care of. Now if a husband is fine with her past then that's his business but I find it deceptive and off-putting that they are entitled to the perks of single and married life.
