Khabib is scared to move up to 170

So he’s willing to put himself in the hospital in an attempt to make weight at 155, but not scared to fight at 170?

Khabib wouldn't have size advantage, so he would retire rather than compete in WW.

He would be very competive in WW if he had mental toughnes to go 3 or 5 rounds with WW guys, which he obviously does not have, unfortunately.

If he had mental toughnes for WW, that would produce some phenomenal matches.

Scared? I highly doubt that "Khabib The Eagle Drop Kick Into McGregor's Corner Nurmogemedov" is scared of much. The more likely reason ( and the most logical) is that he is staying in a weight class that he is successful at. There is literally no reason for him to move up in weight.

If he doesn’t have issues making 55, what’s the problem. There are plenty of former and some current Champs that look like death at weigh ins and they still didn’t move up.

Irrelevant to the discussion. Cage fighting is bad for long term health period. The argument is weather Khabib is scared to move up a weight class.
 
Bears are scarier.
He has no incentive to move up.
The fights are MUCH tougher at 170, so the risk isn't worth it.

Not fear, just common sense.
 
Khabib has loads of problems making 155. Thats another reason i would like to see him at 170.

But he would have to go prove himself, late in the career.
Which he really based only on his skillset is capable. But there are more parameters in the success equation.
 
I'd love to see him at 170.. i think he can do some damage but i also think he will lose some fights..

The fighters moving up usually catch some losses and just like that they were never that good.. i personally dislike khabibs fans and the narrative of him being the best lw in the world but only a complete idiot would deny how fucking good he is..

TS is a fucking moron but there are fighters that have been absolutely yo fight, look at Anthony Johnson vs Rumble for example, heck even GSP admotted he was scared most of the time to fight.

So the whole "fighters are not scared" is complete and total BS that have been debunked already , I know trolls use it it shit on fighters which I agree it sucks but facts are facts

He's fought mid range - high level grapplers his entire career..

RDA, Jim Miller, Joe Stevenson, Tony Ferugson, Islam Makachaev, Josh Neer, Desmond Green, Trujillo, Caol Uno, Khabib, Kurt Pellegrino, Pat Healy, Evan Dunham, Jamie Varner etc..

At 170 he would loose some grapling superiority, which would expose his mediocre striking. He has good chin.

So he would be a hell of a difficult fighter to beat at WW. But guess we will never find out really. )

Until he fights tony (who never lost the belt in the cage) he's not the undisputed champ..

They have equal claim to that belt and it needs to be settled..
