Well it is economically beneficial to Canada as a whole, and it isn't in the best interest for federal government's to play the "What have you done for me?" Game with the provinces. Infrastructure spending shouldn't be contingent on who you vote for.

Buuuuuuut it is. It is simply irrational for any federal party, the conservatives included, to lift one finger to do anything for Alberta. There's nothing you can do to make Alberta go Liberal. There's a lot you can do that will make Quebec go Liberal, though, or Bloc. They matter because they choose to. Alberta doesn't because they chose to.

I would say it's the elected govts job to support ALL Canadians regardless of how they vote.

Punishing a district for not voting for you is wrong and should never be tolerated.
 
Everyone cries about the two party system in America but tonight really showed the problem with a multi party system. Liberals just bounce back and forth between the several liberal parties and never have to confront the fact that liberal politics don't work.

Trudeau can lose all those fucking seats for his party and still win because idiot liberal voters have 4 fucking liberal parties to vote for and never have to admit they are wrong no matter how bad things get.

I don't think he had much anti pipeline rhetoric at all. He approved one pipeline and then bought another one when it was in trouble. Seems pretty committed to me.

One more time at a dumb fuck speed. Just because someone doesn't agree with or vote for you doesn't mean that they are the "other" and aren't deserving respect. You are voted in to govern and serve all of Canada since everyone's tax dollars pay your salary, and not just the one's that agree with you.
