Float like a butterfly OR hit like a truck...a better way to throw hands!!

Big george was well known for his punching power and often kept his rear base foot well planted when delivering his famous cross

In this series you can see his heel pop up as he accelerates the punch and then he settles into the mat with the inside part of the foot well planted for maximum weight transfer

Heres big George literally lifting an opponant off his feet with a massive body shot thanks to his well planted rear foot20191227_133939.jpg 20191227_133958.jpg

* notice the heel pops up when accelerating but plants firmly at the moment of impact

It's not bad proposing something against common wisdom when someone does it with the appropriate modesty
and with solid arguments and that's not the case with you.

You confuse proper rotation with overreaching. Having your rear heel up is necessary to rotate properly.
Even if you could make a case that it jeopardises the balance, claiming that it limits power is just ludicrous and it clearly
show your limits.

Even in other arts like Karate where traditionally the proper form is considered having the rear foot down, this is something that Karateka
emphasise more on rookies in the initial stage of their training where they have poor grasp of fundamentals and balance and even many among them admit that heel up is necessary to add power although traditionally their arts haven't the same take boxing has on the subject.
Now, that's going up against conventional wisdom:

Have a look at this legendary Venezuelan boxer with a 100% KO ratio

[
Wonder how he got a 100 % KO RATE

Could it be that flat foot style???

Hmmmmm

hahahaha

You are just trolling. I had my fun.
Now, I will put you in the ignore list graveyard together with the rest spacetime doppelgangers.

This is my last gift to you. See how it's done.

Recognize this screenshot from the video you just posted

See the way a fighter with a 100% knockout ratio digs his foot into the mat?

The simple scientific fact is the foot of your rear leg should be well planted and bearing most of your weight when throwing most of your punches (ESPECIALLY the cross and jab)
Screenshot_20191228-075118.png20191227_103732.jpg

This posture allows the maximum weight transfer into your target as you have the ability to shift and rotate with ease while you "sit down" into your strike with your heel touching the mat

With your weight on a flat back foot and your heel dug into the mat your are pushing with your primary leg muscles in addition to using the primary momentum of muscular acceleration

Being up in on the ball of your foot puts your ankle and calf in the chain of flexation and can reduce the weight transfer by absorbing shock

Seth was able to KO kimbo with a JAB because he was well braced against the cage

In contrast With the weight on your front foot you are (tipping) and entirely relient on muscular acceleration as you have zero weight and push power in your strike

While one can ko an opponant with a tipping punch it is not ideal posture to strive for

leaning.jpg

With the rear foot literally floating you have ZERO bracing for your strike and loose a ton of potential energy transfer however one can make an argument that a landed tipping punch is better than a well braced punch that falls short

I will always advocate for the old school "pre-ali" theory of heavy hands...for those of you swept up into the tippy toe techniques
Stay on you toes boys...
Heres a video to keep you nice and high on your tippys

@Sano
got sent packing

Deep down you're jealous of how well that man can move, mr Lead Boots

Actually I am 5' 11" 280 and i can do the full splits and headkick with ease so i have no problem with movement

My sumo like frame has no problem throwing the traditional cross... toe pivot and all

Its a lighter punch that has more reach so its a different application

5'11"280lb

It surely doesn't look like it by these photos...

You're overcompensating your lack of flexibility by leaning away from the target (losing power) and STILL isn't kicking at your head height.

Get fit...

Learn technique...

"I can do the full splits" lol so what? I can't and have won fights by kicking people in the head. Have you? Just by saying that you further emphasize how ignorant you are about kicking technique.

You're also ignorant on punching technique. Let me help you: You can turn your rear foot without throwing all your weight to the front foot

I likely own a jockstrap with more KOes than you

Its been near a decade since my last fight so 25 extra pounds dont bother me at all

Heres your ideal combat athlete kicking with your "proper" form

I wouldn't bother. He's clearly not all there.

hey...at least Lucas "the muay thai midget" has a real verifiable background with some ko wins even tho he looks like hes 15

think he would have grown a bit since hes eating all those knees and kicks [ouch]

but seriously bro...you try to throw these little midget bombs and never set up your strikes with a decent combo series

combo lucas...COMBOS

more than one wild swing!

you just ate knees and headkicks all night!!

its like a discount version of nassem hamed that cant crack an egg

avoid MMA tho...your traditional style will get scoop slammed

you look like you might weigh 105 lbs [with your gloves] and the scientific fact is that big men like me dont bounce like tiny little guys like you

heavyweights are very very different but thats another thread

are you back for another ragdolling with a drive by insult?

better hit the ignore button and run for the hills

at least lucas has the guts to use his real name

still dont want to talk about the wall exercise huh?

You're very funny... boasting about your flexibility, yet have to lean to kick at waist level. I don't expect you to understand why that's retarded, anyway.

It's not funny that you seem genuinely deluded, and not a troll, though...

And I already posted those two losses here, they happened back to back and were a true watershed in my career. After that I proceeded to dominate the division and win my third state title, finishing the 1st ranked guy in the process. I'm very proud of the efforts in those losses, context considered.

Now... Where are you fights? Those KO's you talked about?

I dont "have to" lean over when i kick

You want to make a bet on my flexibility?

regardless of your flexibility, your technique isn't nearly as good as your ego from those still pictures.

you think you have a better way of kicking, a better way of punching, and a better way of lifting than everyone else in the world. You're just deluded.
