Mike Perry calls out actor

Well...okay. If you've actually had any fighting experience (I have no reason not to believe you) then I'm pretty stunned that you don't grasp the giant gap there is with grappling when it comes to a UFC caliber fighter (even one with below average grappling by UFC standards) and a 52 year old actor with no actual fight experience that we know of.

I had one MMA fight, that's it. So if you actually did fight you may have done so more than I did. And for me was 10+ years ago. But I still know that someone with the MMA experience and level of competition that Perry has would almost surely ruin someone like MJW in any situation where grappling was allowed. If you think otherwise that would lead me to doubt that you did in fact train and fight under MMA rules.

Wait all this bragging and you've only had a single fight over 10 years ago??? Maybe cool your jets on thinking that makes your opinion is so much more valid than anyone else's.

Danaher isn't a joke, but I'd still pick Edmund in a fight over Danaher.

Then you're an idiot. Danaher is much bigger, his bjj is literally 100x more effective than Edmund's boxing not to mention John was a bouncer for many years.

He would fuck Edmund up in a heartbeat.

Thread is hilarious.

A lot of MMA shills in here thinking a 13-8 Mike Perry who does nothing but spam overhands like a sloppy brawler is a lock against anybody.

Mike trying to stay in some kind of light by calling out 50+ actors. Sad.
imagine thinking the accomplished professional fighter is a lock against the 50+ actor......

Just because White would lose a real fight, doesn't mean his technique isn't vastly superior to Mike Perry's. Lots of fighters learn things every day from trainers who don't fight for real.

Yeah tbh everything else ASIDE MJW is 50+ so really. leave the man alone, his time to 'prove' anything is gone or just plain inaccurate

I don't doubt a 32 YO MJW with his legit athleticism, and mindset for Martial Arts COULD compete and probably be pretty darn dangerous but .... 15-20 years ago. LEAVE THE MAN ALONE perry you scrub lol

MJW took a different path, competitive martial arts was just not fruitful back in his day, it's something we will just never know.

Pick on people of todays era who have a legit reason or chance to 'prove' themselves

Mike Perry is a turkey

What MJW shows the world today is you can be 50+ and in amazing shape and health.

Good on him

All this bragging? WTF are you talking about? My guess is less than 10% of the people who post here have set foot in an MMA gym at all. Less than 1% have ever had a fight most likely. I brought it up because I've trained, fought, cornered some guys and have that perspective. How the F am I "bragging" when I actually called myself a "nobody" right in this thread?

FFS...

Imagine thinking a professional fighter, ranked 20th in the world in the main MMA organisation would beat a 50+ year old actor in a fight.

People be retards.

Lmao. No MJW proves a guy who gets paid to workout and has a private chef and is juiced to the gills can look good in his 50

also what legit athleticism? What's his competitive athletic background, source please

Again it’s a case of instantly being able to recognise people who have trained at a legit fight gym immediately by their responses here.

Trained professionals who do this for a living win fights. There’s so much more to fighting than having the moves and looking good on pads.

Not hating on MJW either. He’s a legit martial artist but that’s a very different thing from being a legit fighter. Guys in ridiculous shape for his age.

People knocking him for being ranked 20th lol, he was destroying people on the regional circuits. MJW was never ranked top 20 at anything in his entire life

Big, black and ripped. Which is effectively the measure of athleticism around here.

Mike Perry circa 2002.

Last time he was on Rogans podcast he catalogued his injuries. He's practically an invalid. Much like Miletich he has neck, spinal, joint, and nerve issues that severely limit his ability to fight. He could turn funny and not be able to get up.

60% ? Dude be pulling numbers out of his ass. He's like the new version of Segal going out teaching these pro fighters pseudo science bullshit lol

Except he's not a trainer, or a competitive martial artist or a fighter. He's a d-list actor in his 50s. Nobody said anything about his technique either. Perry felt he was talking down to Kimbo and then the thread became MJW fanbois saying he'd beat perry in a fight and people who have actual competitive backgrounds saying no he wouldn't

on what basis are you evaluating his technique?

Where did I evaluate it? I barely know who he is. I said just because he wouldn't win a fight doesn't mean his technique isn't better. It may or may not be but it's not like Perry is known for his technique at anything.

it read as if you were saying it was superior.

but i'd say in a fight situation it's highly unlikely white could maintain superior technique even if he had it in training, even compared to perry.
