Bernie has addressed all of the points fox news and MSM pretends he hasnt so many times that you saying this just proves how uninformed you are.

I barely follow politics amd I know more than most people about Bernie who follow it closely. Its because I know MSM are bullshit and get my info elswhere.

We’ve been through the numbers. Bernie is at least 20 trillion short of being able to pay for his promises.

And he has ZERO plans to actually push through the legislation.

You quite obviously barely follow politics.

We as in Fox fake news.

No, we as in this forum. The pipe dream Bernie is selling you is far from a new one.

Eventually, a universal healthcare plan might save money (but it certainly won’t be anytime soon, are you even old enough to remember the Obamacare website?).

It’s the other 20 trillion he can’t pay for, or pass.

You keep saying this ad nauseam, over and over again despite us already going through it, as you say. Bernie has proposed ways to pay for almost all of his plans, and that's more than almost any other candidate including Trump. No, Bernie wont be able to get everything immediately obviously, however you need to fight for it to get it. He's consistently breaking historical records and proving nay-sayers wrong, he's calling for radical change.

And what the fuck is Bernie Sanders going to do for steelworkers?

Oh, that’s right, crash the economy. Great...
Sanders entire platform is based on improving pay and quality of life for the average American. Most supported by unions, most supported by labor, most individual donations, highest favorability ratings, most trusted, the list goes on. He is THE working class candidate, and to suggest otherwise is either ignorant or misleading. You can't even get your talking points straight, constantly moving the goalpost. Why would anyone who actually wants to improve life for the working class listen to your bad faith nonsense? You're full of it.

He is THE working class candidate

This is blatantly false.

A) his election will tank the economy.
B) he openly wants to shut down entire portions of our economy, fracking, healthcare, etc.
C) he will abandon our energy independence. How will those workers like $4 gas?

Bernie is the beggars class candidate.

PS, “he’s calling for radical change”

Great, let me know how he plans to actually push through the legislation.

@Sano
This guy is willingly ignorant and like Trump he thinks saying it makes it so.

Bullshit. He will increase wages for workers, he will combat predatory lending and medical debt, he will eliminate out of pocket healthcare expenses, he will fight to give everyone healthcare and reduce healthcare spending for the majority of the working class, he will expand opportunity for education for the working class, he will give workers equity in their companies, he will fight to get money out of politics and improve democracy, he will create millions of new jobs and he has transition plans for workers in both the healthcare and fracking industry. You don't give a shit about the working class and comparing millions of hard working people to beggars reveals as much.

Bernie is the beggars class candidate.

Lol

When the working class supports him: "He's the beggars class candidate. Lazy people with no jobs and who want to freeload are the only ones that like him!"

When the well-off support him: "He's the candidate for the out of touch elites! They'll be fine in their gated communities and golf clubs while we get screwed!"

It's almost like certain people prefer if he not even attempt to help the bottom 90%.

Wasn't even a whiny post. You guys are super scummy and shooting yourselves in the foot. Thankfully for you I'm above your self-defeating stupidity and voting for him anyway. Y'all couldn't say the same if the situation was different.
It was.

Again as an outsider (take that as you will), you, more than most seem to enjoy taking passive aggressive shots at Sanders and his supporters.

A pretty consistent stream of poke, poke, poke, then cry and call them whiny when they react.

Bernie deserves the nomination. Prediction- “health concerns” will derail him around convention time.

For investors out there, there will be a June swoon in the market when Bernie is more or less official. Not catastrophic but sizeable.

To paraphrase a misattribution to gandhi, I like Sanders, but a significant number of Sanders supporters are (being) tools.

I think it's just that he's a good guy, and I think he'd be a fine president, but he really does have a bunch of awful people backing him who regard their allies as bigger enemies than their opponents. And that dynamic could cause the whole progressive project to crash.

It's so blatantly obvious what he's doing. He just called Sanders a socialist and then wants to act like everyone else is being irrational.

This is the pattern that centrist dems follow. They are living on the credibility they USED to have and losing power every minute.

I've seen that repeated over and over but come to question it quite a bit based on my actual experience the last year or so of really starting to pay attention to the options.

I have definitely seen far more attacks on Bernie and the people backing him by Hilary and many more establishment Dems and the mainstream media outlets have been pretty shameless at it.

You can see Hillary rant and say horrible things about him that undeniably could make the "whole progressive project crash" if Bernie is elected and it is celebrated as her 'just speaking her mind and being honest... do we not want that?" and then if Bernie people speak out against it the reaction is 'see how divisive and aweful the Bernie folk are'.

I have definitely seen a very Trumpian element to how the establishment and mainstream of the Dems label Bernie in defiance of what seems fairness or reality.

Yup.

it is a very Trumpian smear @Fawlty is using, and that cannot be denied. And it is, taking words from @Jack V Savage something that can make the whole progressive project crash.

The Democratic establishment as a whole should be as active as possible in dispelling the Trumpian smear 'socialist' label as it is being used as a slight, as they KNOW what they are pretending it is, which is not what Bernies current platform represents.

Do they think if Bernie wins that type of dishonesty won't be quoted by Trump. He will applaud and echo their dishonest use.

Is there enough awareness amongst the establishment Dems to see that or is only what Bernie bro's do destructive to long term success?
