Growing up in a black neighborhood, I would rank simple theft, domestic violence, and racist name calling as my top three. Not a lot of actual robbery or assault.
Only assault that included theft, was a couple of jive ass turkeys beating up an 80 year old farmer named Mr. Primm. He had four twenty dollar bills on him.
Because when you live in an area, you should know which neighborhoods are good and not good within that area.
Nah, I saw a video with a group of people watching a crime being committed, watching racist insults being hurled, and watching an innocent man being humiliated to tears without anyone calling the police to report the incident.....but some definitely took out their phones to get some selfies with a humiliated man with tears running down his face.

Growing up, you could be pretty safe in the poor trailer parks in my middle class county.
People been knowing their neighborhoods since the beginning of time, you don't need an ipad or googlemaps to know where to and not to go.

Our local asian lady will go into your backyard and steal your cans. My buddy's dad sprayed her down with the hose because she also likes to leave all the shit you had in your recycling bin on your front lawn while she rummages for recyclables. Another buddy of mine got so fed up that he waited for the next trash pick up after this lady had stolen what was maybe 40$ in cans from his backyard. He rigged up a big deep sea jigging fishing rod to one of the bags, and sure enough, the lady showed up the next week and grabbed another bag of recyclables from his backyard. My buddy waited until she made it to the end of the block to close the bail on his rod and as soon as he did the bag burst and the recyclables went everywhere and the lady took off and never came back.

This whole "victim-blaming" is wrong thing is for people that live in an ideological world. Ideologically, a person would be able to walk down any street in America without being harassed, bullied, robbed, or otherwise harmed. The reality of the world that we live in is quite different, there are some places where you would be perfectly fine walking down without any harm coming to you. There are other places where you're at more risk of being harmed. The "victim" needs to know the difference for his/her own safety. Anyone that does harm to the victim is WRONG and is fully to blame for his/her actions against the victim. What people that use this "victim-blaming" narrative ignore is that sometimes "harm" that the victim receives is irreversible and that the best thing would have been to not put yourself in that position in the first place. Now, the person that did harm to the victim, gets caught, goes to prison.....yet that still doesn't make the victim whole again.
This is why I hate that leftists constantly try and use "victim-blaming" when people are trying to warn people on how to not be victims.

Your whole premise on this being a "bad neighborhood" that the Asian man should've known to avoid, was because it was filled with black people. There is no reason why the Asian man should've known it was a bad neighborhood, prior to being robbed. So why should he have known, smart guy? What's THE reason he should've known?
